Summer is over, at least that's what the dates say. Punctually already on September 22nd the rains arrived which had been scarce in recent weeks. After a brief respite and a sharp drop in temperatures, another wave of bad weather is waiting right now. While I am walking by the sea, there at the end is the new disturbance approaching, despite the distance I can already hear the sound of thunder preceding it.

My son is afraid of thunderstorms and with every thunder that rumbles in the air, he freezes and looks at me until the sound is muffled. Seen from the sea, the storm is very fascinating especially in the evening hours, when flashes and lightning are clearly visible. During the day, however, that massive mass of black clouds is quite fearsome, there have often been very violent climatic events this summer, due to the high temperatures.

So it's time to go home and prepare for the coming storm. However, it remains certain that nature, for better or for worse, always leaves you speechless with its beauty and majesty. Faced with such a scene, only man's stupidity can ignore the power and strength of nature itself.

L'estate è finita, almeno le date dicono questo. Puntualmente già il 22 settembre sono arrivate le piogge che erano scarse nelle ultime settimane. Dopo una breve tregua ed un brusco cale delle temperature, un'altra ondata di maltempo è in attesa proprio in queste ore. Mentre passeggio in riva al mare, ecco lì in fondo la nuova perturbazione avvicinarsi, nonostante la distanza io sento già il rumore dei tuoni che la precedono.

Mio figlio ha paura dei temporali e ad ogni tuono che rimbomba nell'aria, lui si blocca e mi guarda, fin tanto che il suono si attutisca. Visto dal mare, il temporale è molto affascinante soprattutto nelle ore serali, quando lampi e fulmini sono ben visibili. Di giorno però quella massiccia massa di nuvole nere è abbastanza temibile, ci sono stati spesso eventi climatici molto violenti in questa estate, a causa delle elevate temperature.

È tempo quindi di tornare a casa e prepararsi alla tempesta in arrivo. Resta certo però che la natura, nel bene e nel male, lascia sempre senza parole per la sua bellezza e la sua maestosità. Davanti ad una scena simile, solo la stupidità dell'uomo può ignorare la potenza e la forza della natura stessa.
