Life is precious and every moment deserves to be celebrated. But marriage is the event par excellence and the celebration is often a manifestation of self-centeredness, a sort of competition where people, often of the female gender, compete against each other in elegant clothes, impeccable make-up and sumptuous jewels.

Personally I prefer to celebrate in a neutral climate, and in fact my wedding took place at a farmhouse, a place where the white stone of the cottage is the absolute protagonist. But we're not all the same, and excess sometimes deserves her praise too.

The Notedimare reception room is a villa used for wedding events, even of considerable importance, with a great availability of welcoming guests and a truly elegant and bright structure. An evening wedding is certainly preferable on hot summer days because it allows you to enjoy cooler temperatures and guests are certainly happier to spend a nice evening in the company of relatives, friends, but above all good food and good music!

What I love most about these receptions, in addition to the always impeccable food, is the location: the common theme is nature, the gardens, the lawn, the fountains... And all this gives me a great sense of well-being and tranquillity, fact i spend a good deal of my time sitting outside the lounge or chasing my son on the lawn, he too loves the natural outdoors.

Food is the protagonist of the evening, an innumerable number of dishes crowd and alternate on our table, delicious, well-finished and fragrant dishes, both from land and sea. It's a real challenge, a light version of Man Vs Food, even if usually at dinner the number of courses is less than at lunch. But that strange feeling of gluttony always remains, whereby I eat until my limit has been exceeded.

We spent a truly incredible evening, joyful, intense and of great happiness for our newly wed friends. Moments that I would like to repeat over and over, like in a famous Tom Cruise film.

La vita è preziosa ed ogni istante merita di essere festeggiato. Ma il matrimonio è l'evento per eccellenza ed il festeggiamento è spesso una manifestazione di egocentrismo, una sorte di gara dove la gente, spesso del genere femminile, si confronta con gli altri in abiti eleganti, trucco impeccabile e gioielli sfarzosi.

Personalmente preferisco festeggiare in un clima neutro, ed infatti il mio matrimonio è avvenuto presso una masseria, un luogo in cui la pietra bianca del casolare è l'assoluta protagonista. Ma non siamo tutti uguali, e l'eccesso a volte merita anche il suo elogio.

La sala ricevimenti Notedimare è una villa adibita ad eventi matrimoniali anche di notevole importanza, con una grande disponibilità di accoglienza degli ospiti ed una struttura davvero elegante e luminosa. Il matrimonio serale è di certo preferibile nelle calde giornate estive perché consente di godere di temperature più fresche e gli ospiti sono di certo più contenti do trascorrere una bella serata in compagnia di parenti, amici, ma soprattutto buon cibo e buona musica!

Ciò che più adoro di questi ricevimenti, oltre al cibo sempre impeccabile, è la location: il tema comune è la natura, i giardini, il prato, le fontane... E tutto ciò mi trasmette un grande senso di benessere e tranquillità, di fatto trascorro una buona parte del mio tempo seduto all'esterno della sala o rincorrendo mio figlio sul prato, anche lui ama gli spazi aperti naturali.

Il cibo è il protagonista della serata, un innumerevole numero di piatti affolla e si alterna sul nostro tavolo, piatti prelibati, curati e profumati, sia di terra che di mare. È una vera e propria sfida, una versione light di Man Vs Food, anche se solitamente a cena il numero di portate è inferiore rispetto ad un pranzo. Ma resta sempre quella strana sensazione d'ingordigia,per cui io mangio finché il mio limite è stato sorpassato.

Abbiamo trascorso una serata davvero incredibile, gioiosa, intensa e di grande felicità per i nostri amici neo sposi. Momenti che vorrei ripetere all'infinito, come in un famoso film di Tom Cruise.
