Sooner or later I'd like to visit Miami Beach, the famous American resort with long beaches, clear seas and the many pubs and restaurants that alternate along the coast. But for now, alas, I have to settle for the lido Miami Beach, located in the marine city of Margherita di Savoia.

It is a discreet lido that stands on a large stretch of beach, flanked by other similar structures that compete for the coast road. The presence of a few palm trees and the fine sand recall the dreamed American coasts but the quality of the services, the purity of the sand and the sea are very far apart.

However, the torrid heat helps us to appreciate any structure equipped with umbrellas and deck chairs, a comfortable walkway on the sand helps to avoid burns to the feet and easy access to the sea, especially for children, is the best solution.

We spent our entire day between the sea, umbrellas and the cold-water shower station, the best solution to dilute the strong heat. During the morning a warm breeze certainly didn't help our stay but in the early afternoon, a cooler wind made our day more pleasant. The sea, initially clean and calm, changed motion, making the water dirty and bringing a large amount of seaweed closer to the shore.

Lido Miami Beach is far from what I would have liked, but a good quality/price compromise, having paid 10 euros for the rental of an umbrella and sunbeds, plus some services such as showers, miniclub for children, bar.

Prima o poi mi piacerebbe visitare Miami Beach, la celebre località americana dalle lunghe spiagge, dal mare limpido e dai tanti pub e ristoranti che si alternano lungo la costa. Ma per ora, ahimè, io devo accontentarmi del lido Miami Beach, situato nella città marina di Margherita di Savoia.

È un lido discreto che sorge su un'ampio tratto di spiaggia, affiancato da altre strutture similari che si contendono la litoranea. La presenza di alcuni palme e la sabbia fine ricordano le sognate coste americane ma la qualità dei servizi, la purezza della sabbia e del mare sono molto ben distanti.

Il caldo torrido però ci aiuta ad apprezzare qualsiasi struttura dotati di ombrelloni e sedie sdraio, una comoda passerella sulla sabbia aiuta ad evitare ustioni ai piedi ed un accesso al mare facilitato, soprattutto per i bambini, è la migliore soluzione.

Abbiamo trascorso la nostra giornata interamente tra mare, ombrelloni e la postazione delle docce con acqua fredda, la migliore soluzione per stemperare il forte caldo. Durante la mattinata una brezza calda di certo non ha aiutato la nostra permanenza ma nel primo pomeriggio, un vento più fresco ha reso più piacevole la nostra giornata. Il mare, inizialmente pulito e calmo, ha cambiato moto, sporcando l'acqua e avvicinando a riva una grande quantità di alghe.

Lido Miami Beach è ben lontano da quello che avrei voluto, ma un buon compromesso qualità/prezzo, avendo pagato 10 euro il noleggio di un ombrellone e lettini, più alcuni servizi come docce, miniclub per bambini, bar.
