Weekend is synonymous with fun and carefree, planning activities that focus almost exclusively on your children. I consider myself lucky because both my wife and I always have free weekends and we can organize ourselves as best we can to be a united family. Unfortunately, and fortunately, many others also work on weekends and ensure that we can choose to walk in shopping centers for example.

The shopping center is now adapting to the needs of families, creating playful spaces in which children play and have fun, while also allowing parents to make purchases in peace. Ikea has created play spaces, called SMÅLAND, where children can play freely and for free, supervised by trained staff, allowing adults to walk around and buy items without having to herd their children in the aisles.

Lunch is also a time for leisure and play, play spaces have been created with large interactive monitors, where children can colour, compose puzzles and assemble furniture digitally! All under the strict supervision of the parents who can safely enjoy lunch without any particular problems.

In Italy there is a strong increase in the birth rate, there is a need for more interventions and structures that help families manage children, especially if both parents need to work. It is necessary to start laying the foundations for a turnaround by supporting families not only economically but also through structures, schools and any other activity useful for managing our children.

Weekend è sinonimo di divertimento e spensieratezza, pianificando attività che si concentrano quasi esclusivamente sui propri figli. Mi reputo fortunato poiché sia io che mia moglie abbiamo sempre o weekend liberi e possiamo organizzarci al meglio per essere una famiglia unita. Purtroppo, e per fortuna, molti altri lavorano anche nei weekend e garantiscono a noi di poter scegliere di passeggiare nei centri commerciali ad esempio.

Il centro commerciale si sta ormai adattando alle esigenze delle famiglie, creando spazi ludici in cui i bambini giocano e si divertono, consentendo ai genitori anche di effettuare acquisti in serenità. Ikea ha creato spazi ludici, chiamato SMÅLAND, in cui i bambini possono giocare liberamente e gratuitamente, sorvegliati da personale preparato, consentendo agli adulti di passeggiare e comprare oggetti senza dover ricorrere i propri figli nei corridoi.

Anche il pranzo è un momento di svago e di gioco, sono stati creati spazi ludici con monitor grandi interattivi, in cui i bambini possono colorare, comporre puzzle e montare mobili digitalmente! Il tutto sotto stretta sorveglianza dei genitori che possono tranquillamente degustare il pranzo senza particolari problemi.

In Italia vi è un forte incremento della denatalità, c'è bisogno di più interventi e strutture che aiutino le famiglie a gestire i bambini, soprattutto se entrambi i genitori hanno necessità di lavorare. È necessario iniziare a porre le basi per una inversione di tendenza sostenendo le famiglie non solo economicamente ma anche attraverso strutture, scuole e qualsiasi altri attività utile alla gestione dei nostri figli.
