Pueblitos Mágicos Venezolanos//Venezuelan Magic Towns (By @clarineth)

¿Pueblitos mágicos, qué es eso? me preguntó alguien una vez cuando le comenté que cada fin de semana hacía viaje con mis mejores amigas a visitar "los pueblitos mágicos qué nuestro país escondía", me dijo que sonaba a sustancias que marean, por supuesto que reí y ahí mismo le dí la charla que albergaba la razón de nuestros recorridos.

Venezuela esconde lugares hermoso en cada una de sus montañas y dentro de sus zonas más "feas". Bien dicha estuvo esa frase que dice, "los caminos más difíciles, llevan a los lugares más bellos" caminar por dos horas entre rocas, enredaderas y otro sin fin de aventuras que tal vez les cuente luego, me demostraron que sí, a veces los lugares "feos y peligrosos", esconden vistas preciosas.

aunque he de admitir que esa nunca fue la verdadera razón de nuestras escapadas de fin de semana.

Although I have to admit that this was never the real reason for our weekend getaways.

Somos tres amigas que para ese entonces teníamos el corazón roto. Una había terminado la relación amorosa que había mantenido por la mitad de su vida, la otra decidió entrar en un amorío con un amor que ni siquiera era suyo, y yo, yo estaba pasando por la peor depresión de mi vida debido a que ya no podía conmigo misma. Alguien, en un desesperado intento por obsequiarnos felicidad, nos llevó a un lugar alejado porque "podríamos distraer la cabeza". Todos los días le doy las gracias, no sólo nos unió como una familia, también nos mostró que no era necesario escapar de la realidad para sentirse feliz.

Ese día descubrimos que en un lugar sin señal, respirando aire fresco y expuesto a la belleza natural que alberga nuestro país, teníamos paz. Una paz que las malas circunstancias de la vida nos había arrebatado, y nadie jamás nos podría quitar eso, porque sin importar el tiempo que pese o si algún día no estamos juntas, nadie borrará los recuerdos felices que nos ha obsequiado cada pueblitos mágico que hasta ahora visitamos.

¿Y por qué pueblitos mágicos? porque por arte de magia nos devolvieron la felicidad.

That day we discovered that in a place with no signal, breathing fresh air and exposed to the natural beauty of our country, we had peace. A peace that the bad circumstances of life had taken away from us, and no one could ever take that away from us, because no matter how much time passes or if someday we are not together, no one will erase the happy memories that each magical village we have visited so far has given us.

And why magical towns? Because they magically gave us back our happiness.
