Jojo Bizarre adventures is a strangely good series, it has renaissance elements that the author has managed to combine in each of its characters regardless of whether they are men or women, the Stone Ocean saga is the last one they have animated but corresponds to the fifth season of this fascinating story. It all began with the wealthy Joestar family, who after having an accident were "rescued" by a man who had perverse machinations, which were more pronounced in his son Dio Brandon who is the antagonist of the whole plot.

When we arrive at Stone Ocean the conflict has advanced quite a bit in time and the main character of previous sagas Jotaro Kujo has a daughter, this one named Joline Cujoh is shown as a rebellious girl since she does not grow up with her father, that brings as a consequence a difficult and lonely life. Joline is involved in a plot against her family that she does not know and because of that she is arrested and taken to a prison, there she meets other characters that become important in the story and in the development of her own character.

Stands also make an appearance, these are mental abilities that materialize in physical characters, not everyone can have them, they are abilities that awaken in some and are imposed on others by a priest follower of the ideals of Dio. This has some similarity with the video game "Persona" of Play Station, and in turn a little in diversity with the Hunter x Hunter skills, the difference lies in that both users and their stands are connected, to defeat the stand you have to defeat the user and these physically are not so strong, however some can enhance their physical abilities thanks to their stands.

The battles are very interesting, although there are blows and action in between most of the combat is based on strategies using the skills of the stand, in that sense the fight takes a different turn where caution becomes a very important element, and those who are not cautious usually die quickly. Most of this installment takes place in the prison, and that is really striking, all the elements of a prison are well cared for, both the visiting rooms and the punishment rooms, the cells, the yard, etc.

Jojo Bizarre adventures es una serie extrañamente buena, tiene elementos renacentistas que el autor ha sabido combinar en cada uno de sus personajes sin importar que estos sean hombres o mujeres, la saga Stone Ocean es la última que han animado pero corresponde a la quinta temporada de esta fascinante historia. Todo comenzó con la adinerada familia Joestar, quienes luego de tener un accidente fueron “rescatados” por un hombre que tenía maquinaciones perversas, las cuales se vieron más pronunciadas en su hijo Dio Brandon quien es el antagonista de toda la trama.

Cuando llegamos a Stone Ocean el conflicto ha avanzado bastante en el tiempo y el personaje principal de sagas anteriores Jotaro Kujo tiene una hija, esta de nombre Joline Cujoh se muestra como una chica rebelde ya que no crece junto a su padre, eso trae como consecuencia una vida difícil y solitaria. Joline se ve envuelta en un complot contra su familia que ella no sabe y a causa de eso es arrestada y llevada a una prisión, allí conoce a otros personajes que se vuelven importantes en la historia y en el propio desarrollo de su carácter.

Los stands también hacen acto de presencia, estos son unas habilidades mentales que se materializan en personajes físicos, no todos pueden tenerlos, son habilidades que despiertan en algunos y son impuestas en otros por un sacerdote seguidor de los ideales de Dio. Esto tiene algo de similitud con el videojuego “Persona” de Play Station, y a su vez un poco en la diversidad con las habilidades Hunter x hunter, la diferencia radica en que tanto los usuarios como sus stands estan conectados, para vencer el stand hay que derrotar al usuario y estos físicamente no son tan fuertes, sin embargo algunos pueden potenciar sus habilidades físicas gracias a sus stands.

Las batallas son muy interesantes, si bien hay golpes y acción de por medio la mayor parte del combate se basa en estrategias usando las habilidades del stand, en ese sentido la pelea da un giro diferente donde la cautela se vuelve un elemento bastante importante, y quienes no son cautelosos generalmente mueren rápido. La mayor parte de esta entrega se desarrolla en la prisión, y eso de verdad es sumamente llamativo, todos los elementos de una prisión son bien cuidados, tanto las salas de visita como los cuartos de castigo, las celdas, el patio, etc.

Beyond a prison / Mas allá de una cárcel

Behind bars an intense adventure is lived, Joline develops powerful abilities thanks to her lineage and her stand, then she becomes the main obstacle of Father Pucchi who is the chaplain of the prison but at the same time the follower of Dio, he has managed to fulfill a series of elements to bring out "the heaven" that his master proclaimed, a power that would bring supposed happiness to all human beings, but as he still lacked elements he found real opposition in the daughter of Jotaro.

In prison Joline develops strong ties with Ermes another inmate, with F.F. a stand with his own personality, with Emporio a child born in prison, with Weather Forecast the younger brother of Father Pucchi but who had lost his memory and with a serial killer named Anastasia, these 5 characters are stand users and all help her in her struggle to help her father who had been left as a living dead after a trap devised by the priest.

As the story progresses we get to know each of the characters, the author was giving important details of all, even the antagonist, the idea was to give us a very complete and deep picture that allows us to enjoy this installment even without having seen the previous ones, it is clear that already knowing them gives a greater understanding to this part of the series but still can be observed without problems.

Tras las rejas se vive una aventura intensa, Joline desarrolla habilidades poderosas gracias a su linaje y su stand, entonces se vuelve el principal obstáculo del Padre Pucchi quien es el capellan de la cárcel pero a su vez el seguidor de Dio, este ha conseguido cumplir con una serie de elementos para traer a cabo “el cielo” que su amo proclamaba, un poder que traería supuesta felicidad a todos los seres humanos, pero como aun le faltaban elementos encontró verdadera oposición en la hija de Jotaro.

En la cárcel Joline desarrolla fuertes lazos con Ermes otra reclusa, con F.F un stand con personalidad propia, con Emporio un niño que nació en prisión, con Weather Forecast el hermano menor del Padre Pucchi pero que había perdido la memoria y con un asesino en serie llamado Anastasia, estos 5 personajes son usuarios stands y todos le ayudan en su lucha por ayudar a su padre que había quedado como un muerto viviente luego de una trampa ideada por el sacerdote.

A medida que la historia avanza vamos conociendo a cada uno de los personajes, el autor fue dando detalles importantes de todos, incluso del antagonista, la idea era darnos un panorama muy completo y profundo que nos permite disfrutar de esta entrega aun sin haber visto las anteriores, claro está que ya conocerlas da un mayor entendimiento a esta parte de la serie pero aun asi se puede observar sin problemas.

When we get out of prison we reach the final part of the arc, and this does not disappoint, in fact it gives us a feeling of suspense because we do not know how things will end, the fights become more difficult to decipher and the skills are more powerful, but like all Japanese series death makes an appearance and in this anime in a cruel and bloody way at times, which makes me conclude that Jojo is not a series for children but for adults, not only for the above mentioned but for the whole atmosphere that surrounds it, sexual themes are touched, suicide, murder, nudity and more, it is a raw series, an element that gives a special touch and should never be removed from stories like this.

While the arc does not disappoint, the ending was not to my liking in its entirety, I did not expect such a denouement, I must confess that I was surprised and although at the end of everything you can glimpse the word END leaves the door open for viewers to imagine, speculate and more; this is definitely the magic of audiovisual entertainment, it leads us to think or want more of the series, as if we did not want the end in any way. Finally and to conclude, Jojo is an exciting series where the struggle for good and evil is shown as a war between two opposing ideals, which can lead you to lean towards one or the other, the truth is that it is a series that is certainly worth watching.

Al salir de prisión llegamos a la parte final del arco, y esta no decepciona, de hecho nos da un sentimiento de suspenso porque no sabemos cómo terminaran las cosas, los combates se vuelven más difíciles de descifrar y las habilidades son más poderosas, pero como toda serie japonesa la muerte hace acto de presencia y en este anime de una forma cruel y sangrienta en oportunidades, lo cual me hace concluir que Jojo no es una serie para niños sino para adultos, no solo por lo mencionado anteriormente sino por todo el ambiente que la rodea, se tocan temas sexuales, de suicidio, asesinatos, se ven desnudos y más, es una serie cruda, un elemento que da un toque especial y jamás debe ser quitado de historias como este tipo.

Si bien el arco no decepciona, el final no fue de mi gusto en su totalidad, no me espere tal desenlace, debo confesar que me sorprendió y aunque al termino de todo se puede vislumbrar la palabra FIN deja la puerta abierta para que los espectadores imaginen, especulen y más; esto es definitivamente la magia del entretenimiento audiovisual, nos lleva a pensar o a querer más de la serie, como si no quisiéramos el fin de ninguna manera. Por último y para concluir, Jojo es una serie emocionante donde la lucha por el bien y el mal se muestra como una guerra entre dos ideales contrarios, los cuales te pueden llevar a inclinarte por uno u otro, lo cierto es que es una serie que sin duda vale la pena observar.
