The battle raged and the battlefield was splattered with blood, dead bodies were everywhere and hope was lost as the battle progressed. Daria's forces succumbed to Obsidian's magical power, and when all seemed lost, a loud exclamation was heard that perplexed allies and enemies alike, the bold words were: Don't worry mortals! I am here. When everyone raised their faces to the horizon to see who made such statements, the silhouette of Jared emerged with a coin that he threw into the air, the mercenary had arrived from the great coliseum, a smile emanated on his face, but at first glance it was obvious that he was thirsty for blood.

La batalla arreciaba y el campo de batalla estaba salpicado de mucha sangre, los cuerpos muertos se veían por doquier y la esperanza se perdía a medida que avanzaba el combate. Las fuerzas de Daria sucumbían ante el poder mágico de Obsidian, y cuando todo parecía estar perdido se oyó una fuerte exclamación que dejo perplejos tanto a aliados como enemigos, las osadas palabras fueron: ¡Don’t worry mortals! I am here. Cuando todos levantaron el rostro al horizonte para ver quien hacia tales declaraciones, la silueta de Jared emergía con una con una moneda que lanzaba al aire, el mercenario había llegado desde el gran coliseo, una sonrisa emanaba en su rostro, pero a simple vista se notaba que venía sediento de sangre.

Ruleset

The battle condition this time was that of only odd numbers, a ruleset that usually eliminates half arsenal, with it we are limited because we can not have all our cards, however it is a very interesting condition to play because it leads us to make better strategies to achieve victory. I must confess that I find it easier to play with the ruleset of even numbers than with the odd ones, the most difficult thing in this last case is the choice of the team, since it is always necessary to balance in the best way, the idea is to have good power but also to use the right support cards.

La condición de batalla en esta oportunidad fue la de solo números impares, una ruleset que suele eliminar medio arsenal, con ella estamos limitados porque no podemos disponer de todas nuestras cartas, sin embargo es una condición bastante interesante de jugar ya que nos lleva a realizar mejores estrategias para asi conseguir la victoria. Debo confesar que me resulta más fácil jugar con la ruleset de números pares que con los impares, lo más difícil en este último caso es la elección del equipo, ya que siempre se necesita equilibrar de la mejor manera, la idea es tener buen poder pero también usar las correctas cartas de apoyo.

As a summoner I decided to use Daria, I love the Dragon type, especially if I plan to fight with physical attack, Daria gives me +1 attack and that's enough to kill many opponents, although many times Disintegrator is part of the enemy ranks and decreases my power, but still I keep the advantage with Daria. In the first position my choice was Coeurl Lurker, this card is spectacular, its stats are very good from the start, it also has Taunt and dodge as main abilities, that gives me time while my team does damage. In the second row I used Gargoya Devil, Hero of Beyond (I love this card), Disintegrator to demoralize the opponent's attack, Djinn Renova to strengthen my team and finally I left my Jared. Note that I put him in the final position, it was something strategic and at the same time very risky because if my enemy used a card with "Snake" he could attack me once my tank was eliminated. But my intention was that when I got to the first position I could find weakened opponents and finish them quickly to activate Bloodlust, his main weapon.

Como invocadora decidí usar a Daria, me encanta el tipo Dragón, sobre todo si pienso pelear con ataque físico, Daria me aporta +1 de ataque y eso es suficiente para acabar con muchos rivales, aunque muchas veces Disintegrator forma parte de las filas enemigas y me disminuye el poder, pero aun asi mantengo la ventaja con Daria. En la primera posición mi escogido fue Coeurl Lurker, esta carta es espectacular, sus stats son muy buenos de entrada, además tiene Taunt y esquivar como habilidades principales, eso me otorga tiempo mientras mi equipo hace daño. En la segunda fila utilice a Gargoya Devil, a Hero of Beyond (me encanta esta carta), a Disintegrator para desmoralizar el ataque rival, a Djinn Renova para fortalecer mi equipo y por ultimo deje a mi Jared. Nótese que lo puse en la posición final, fue algo estratégico y la vez muy arriesgado ya que si mi enemigo usaba alguna carta con “Snake” me lo podría atacar una vez eliminado mi tanque. Pero mi intención era que al llegar a la primera posición pudiera encontrar rivales debilitados y acabarlos rápidamente para activar Bloodlust, su arma principal.

The battle was brutal, the opponent's magic began to wreak havoc as soon as it started, besides that my enemy had his Mycelic in the second row, this card has Taunt, so my attacks went there. Coeurl Lurker wasn't precise or fast in the battle, he was quickly eliminated, he didn't dodge anything at all, in that sense he wasn't very useful to me. Then Gargoya Devil and Disintegrator tried to take his place but they didn't do much damage either, and they also fell early in the fight. It wasn't until the third turn that I was able to defeat his tank, but at that moment my team was quite weakened, I only had 3 cards left and my opponent had 5 available, although having Jared at the end with no chance to attack, my offensive for those moments was based on Djinn Renova and Hero of Beyond only. Effectively I was able to defeat one of his cards and leave his tank half dead, and come round 5 Jared occupied the first position ready for battle, my last horse but the most powerful, quickly attacked and killed an enemy, Bloodlust was activated and the rest was history, the next three opponents became corpses, and although they fought nothing could do against my powerful hippopotamus.

La batalla fue brutal, la magia rival comenzó a hacer estragos nada más comenzar, además de eso mi enemigo tenía a su Mycelic en la segunda fila, esta carta tiene Taunt, asi que mis ataques iban hacia allí. Coeurl Lurker no estuvo preciso ni rápido en la batalla, rápidamente lo eliminaron, no esquivo absolutamente nada, en ese sentido me fue poco útil. Luego Gargoya Devil y Disintegrator trataron de suplir en su lugar pero tampoco hicieron mucho daño, y también cayeron temprano en el combate. No fue sino hasta el tercer turno que pude vencer a su tanque, pero en ese momento mi equipo se encontraba bastante debilitado, solo me quedaban 3 cartas y mi rival tenía 5 disponibles, aunque teniendo a Jared al final sin posibilidades de atacar prácticamente mi ofensiva para esos momentos se apoyaba en Djinn Renova y Hero of Beyond solamente. De manera efectiva pude derrotar a una de sus cartas y dejar a su tanque medio muerto, y llegado el round 5 Jared ocupo la primera posición listo para la batalla, mi último caballo pero el más poderoso, rápidamente ataco y acabo con un enemigo, Bloodlust se activó y lo demás fue historia, los siguientes tres rivales se convirtieron en cadáveres, y aunque dieron pelea nada pudieron hacer contra mi poderoso hipopótamo.

It was a good battle, in the end my strategy paid off and I could get the victory, I really saw it lost, but a ray of hope arose when Jared entered the fight quickly annihilating an opponent. Definitely Bloodlust is a spectacular ability, my greatest wish is that the Splinterlands team adds it to a card with "opportunist" as some Gladius have it, it would be a beast, if they do it for sure I will take advantage of it in a great way.

Fue una buena batalla, al final mi estrategia dio frutos y pude obtener la victoria, de verdad que la vi perdida, pero un rayo de esperanza surgió cuando Jared entro en el combate aniquilando rápidamente un rival. Definitivamente Bloodlust es una habilidad espectacular, mi mayor deseo es que el equipo de Splinterlands la agregue a una carta con “oportunista” como la tienen algunas Gladius, sería una bestialidad., si lo hacen de seguro que la voy a aprovechar en gran manera.
