Contra todo pronóstico las cafeteras se imponen ante Alemania [ESP/ENG]

Que Colombia venciera a las chicas alemanas en la Copa del mundo femenina era algo que nadie o muy pocos se esperaban, no porque Colombia sea un mal equipo sino porque Alemania es de lo mejor que hay en esta competicion, estan ranqueadas #2 en la Fifa y tenian una seguidilla de 20 partidos sin perder, sumado a eso venian de golear a las marroqui con marcador de 6-0.

Este panorama obviamente daba como favoritas a las alemanas a pesar de que Colombia es subcampeona de America y tambien venia de ganar su primer partido, sin embargo en la cancha jugaron en igualdad de condiciones. Las chicas colombianas jamas se dejaron atemorizar por tener todo en contra sino que dieron lo mejor de si y lograron obtener una victoria que las deja muy cerca de obtener la clasificacion a octavos de final.

El estadio presento un lleno total, las gradas estaban llenas de hinchas colombianos y alemanes quienes disfrutaron de un muy buen partido. Considero que Alemania se vio sorprendida por el rendimiento cafetero que sin tener la posesion del esferico complicaban en todo el terreno. La primera mitad no hubo mucho que resaltar de ningun lado, orden en los dos equipos y muy pocas aproximaciones al arco rival aunque si peligro alguno.

That Colombia beat the German girls in the Women's World Cup was something that nobody or very few expected, not because Colombia is a bad team but because Germany is one of the best in this competition, they are ranked #2 in Fifa and had a streak of 20 matches without losing, added to that they had just beaten the Moroccan girls with a score of 6-0.

This scenario obviously gave the Germans as favorites despite the fact that Colombia is the runner-up of America and also had just won their first match, however on the field they played on equal terms. The Colombian girls never let themselves be frightened by having everything against them, but gave their best and managed to get a victory that leaves them very close to qualify for the round of 16.

The stadium was packed, the stands were full of Colombian and German fans who enjoyed a very good match. I believe that Germany was surprised by the performance of the Colombian team who, without having possession of the ball, complicated the whole field. In the first half there was not much to highlight from either side, order in both teams and very few approaches to the rival goal although there was no danger at all.

La segunda mitad comenzaria con un ritmo diferente, el estudio quedo en la primera parte y ambas escuadras comenzaron a ser mas incisivas en el ataque, lo cual produjo fruto y nos regalo un mejor encuentro. La colombiana Linda Caicedo jugadora del Real Madrid hizo un gol que ella misma describio como una jugada de barrio ya que gambeteo a dos defensoras y la clavo en el angulo tipo playstation, un verdadero golazo que daba la ventaja a las colombianas para sorpresa de todos.

A partir de este momento la aplanadora alemana ajusto y comenzo el ataque por todos lados, las bandas y el centro de la ofensiva dieron mucho trabajo a las defensoras colombianas, las cuales soportaron muy bien las embestidas pero en una jugada imposible de detener la arquera Catalina Perez cometia penal cuando la delantera se le escapaba, de esa forma Alemania consiguio el empate bajo la definicion de Alexandra Popp a solo un minuto de terminar el encuentro.

Hasta este punto alemanas y colombianas nos regalaban un empate merecido pero como en el futbol los merecimientos realmente no existen en el ultimo minuto de la prorroga aunque despues se alargo mas de lo esperado la jugadora Manuela Vanegas anotaba el segundo gol para las colombianas y de esa forma obtenian una victoria que muchos han considerado historica pero a final de cuentas muy bien trabajada.

Definitivamente el futbol femenino me ha dejado boquiabierto con su buen nivel, las jugadoras han evolucionado mucho y estoy convencido que la proxima copa del mundo tendra una mejor difusion que la que se le esta dando en este momento. Por ultimo y para concluir, ya estamos a solo horas de que la tercera ronda comience, ya hay algunos equipo clasificados y otros eliminados, los octavos de final estan a la vuelta de la esquina, por lo que en resumidas palabras dire que lo mejor del torneo esta por venir, no te lo pierdas.

Definitely women's soccer has left me speechless with its good level, the players have evolved a lot and I am convinced that the next world cup will have a better diffusion than the one that is being given at this moment. Finally and to conclude, we are just hours away from the third round, there are already some teams qualified and others eliminated, the round of 16 is just around the corner, so in short I will say that the best of the tournament is yet to come, do not miss it.
