Sublime Sunday at church //Last day of 21 days fasting

Spending Sundays at church gives me pleasure and comfort than any other thing. Yesterday was our last day of fasting and prayer and had a feast in the evening. We always had our fasting every first month of the year and we had the one for this year on 3rd till 29th even though I didn't partake of it due to my reasons.

I'm an ulcer patient and I have been on it since last year. I remember talking about it in one of my post and how disturbing it has been to me. I couldn't take part in the fasting but I made sure be available for the prayers and each time I pray, I ask for healings.

One of the magnificent things is listening to the word of God for me. Being part of the media unit and taking active participation makes it more easier for me to serve in the church. My pastor is a jovial person and always talked about relationship with God every time he holds the mic, he never stops talking about relationships.

On a normal note for me, I could have been part of the congregation like these people in the photos but a camera man never appears in the photos he takes. It was good to see new faces in the church too, we had some new worshipers who joined us in our services and became our members.

It was supposed to be our end of the month Thanksgiving yesterday but due to the fasting, it had to be postponed to next Sunday. Our thanksgiving is usually one of the best we have monthly and we have the chance to dance for a long time praising God and sharing testimonies.

My unit member and a friend is holding the video camera making a visual exchange with the help of other unit members to make sure people outside follow up with the ongoings inside the church. One of the best gifts I received is rendering services to God.
