I have been waiting for a long time to have small pieces of MDF, to make homemade stamps with figures of my preference.

Making stamps at home with some resistant material is a great idea, with them we can stamp different textures such as paper, fabric, wood or even wall.

This time I want to share with you an easy design that works twice as well because the stamp model is double, that is to say a different design on each side, so if you like the idea stay and I'll show you the step by step.

As you know I like to create my own pieces, so my stamp is very easy, decorative, resistant and functional and we can make it with materials that we usually have at home.

This time we will use:

🔅 A piece of 5cm wide by 5cm long.

🔅 A piece of foami.

🔅 Liquid silicone

🔅 Glue

🔅 Pencil

🔅 Sheet of paper

🔅 Paint

How we do it!

🔅 We draw on a sheet of paper the model for our stamp.

🔅 Transfer to the foami and trace the figure with the pencil.

🔅 Cut out precisely and accurately to avoid distorting the figure.

🔅 Apply silicone and stick to the MBF piece, leave to dry.

🔅 Apply stamping ink, marker or marking paint to the chosen surface.

As you can see, making stamps at home is not difficult at all, in fact we can use different types of material such as cardboard, plastic lids or any other material that can be adapted to make this piece.

I really like the idea of creating my own stamps because I don't need to wait to have my designs, besides this they are personalised and the cost is lower and the variety is much wider.

This technique is very easy and the best of all is that we can make our own stamp collection, which is a fabulous idea and soon I will bring you a 2nd part of these fabulous, practical and innovative stamps.

Sello casero en 4 pasos. DIY

Yes... they are a perfect audience for this idea, also girls who love stamping their notebooks and other surfaces as well as those who do crafts and journaling 😊 the truth is that there is a wide audience that would surely take advantage of this idea 💡 and without generating a lot of expenses.
