Hope your coffee was good today.

I'm not a fan of coffee desserts, not because of the caffeine but because of the flavor. I prefer to eat my dessert and accompany it with a cup of espresso... However._

Tiramisu is one of my favorite desserts in the whole world. There was an Italian lady in a restaurant here in my hometown (at "Clínica Oriente") who prepared the best tiramisu I've tried so far. I was always too shy to ask her what her secret was. It was light and creamy, not too sweet, and really aromatic. I dream of it and am always fearing that if I ever get to make my own tiramisu, I'll be disappointed because I won't find that taste I miss so much.

What a coincidence that two days ago, they gave me a Moka cookie to go with my cappuccino. I didn't eat it because it'd be like coffee overkill, hehe. You know. It was a nice detail, though 😁💕

Accidentally, I have a photo exactly for this week's topic.
My babygirl chose this combo of coffee and chocolate-flavoured desserts on our visit to the Buter-Brodsky cafe. The desserts were great, and I really liked the serving - it inspired me to take endless photos of it, lol. 😋

...but I'm not a fan of coffee desserts - I am rather obsessed with coffee + pastry combo. I happily venture after a contrast of taste; I find the harmony of taste in a contrast, not in equility.

For example, a chocolate brownie is a great cookie on its own, it melts in your mouth deliciously, leaving a coffee aftertaste - but... eating it together with coffee? No and no, that doesn't give me much pleasure. My cup of coffee votes for flavor contrast, not for multiplication a la "more coffee flavor!"

I love adding chocolate chips to vanilla ice cream (I keep a bag of unflavored confectionery chocolate bars especially for the cases when we want to have a coffee-flavored ice cream). I also like to drink from time to time "coffee glace" with ice cream added. And it's better to choose 2 of the 3 flavors, but not all three at the same time!

A little more caffeine

I love desserts in small size, I don't like sweet too much. I find that small sweets with bitter coffee flavor are ideal to enjoy in the afternoon whether it is cold or hot weather it is always good to enjoy it.

Greetings coffee lovers, yesterday was my niece's birthday, my sister bought her an ice cream kake in a very famous ice cream shop in Havana, to my surprise she chose one with coffee and chocolate, it was really super special. I like sweets with or without coffee Happy Sunday

My best moments accompanied or not are some of my favorites.
Coffee or coffee desserts are delicious and are almost always on my menu.
I have made some desserts such as coffee ice cream and chocolate cake with coffee are some of my favorites in my
personal preparation list.
Coffee truffles are also my classic and for me there is never too much caffeine.
Today I enjoyed these coffee cookies with Nutella, a treat prepared by a friend of mine who always sends me a couple for a very generous cost of 1$ when she makes them.
I love that coffee cream with Nutella makes these cookies the best of the best.

Today I come with my participation in the conversation of the week of our beloved coffee group.

I love some coffee candies here, they are small doses of caffeine that we can suck on, they are very delicious and have that coffee flavor that we love so much. In a commentary I commented on the goodness of these candies that can satisfy the craving for coffee, at any time, any place and any moment of our life. Unfortunately I could not get the candies to take a picture and show you how the coffee candies look like.

Speaking of sweets, today they brought me an exquisite Juan Valdez coffee, one of the best produced in the country, my eyes almost jumped out of their sockets seeing such a wonderful gift, it is a coffee with notes of chocolate and peach flavor, I think I will enjoy it very much. Cheers!😋

Coffee is a very versatile ingredient, of course it can be used for some desserts to accompany a cup of coffee, it is not excess, it is the perfect combination for a pleasant time with family or friends. As for example a chocolate cake, I always add coffee to chocolate cakes, next to a good coffee it is the perfect delight.

In my country a brand of cookies has different flavors, my favorites are the mocha coffee ones. This time I had some brownies and these are the ones I show you accompanying my coffee today. Happy day! ☕

Hahaha... I don't know if I'll be in time to share my post, but as you well know, I'm a fan of everything that contains coffee, from a cup to an ice cream, candy or cake and I can't deny that 😅😅😅

In the image I share with you a rich coffee flan dusted with cocoa, made by me a few months ago and remembering it makes me crave for it. It is not sweet at all and the cocoa powder gives it a special touch.
