The Best of the Beanies, in no particular order - they were all so good!
The Bewitched Coffee Brew by @yelimarin
Fuente
Amelie was preparing to give a party that night for the men to marvel at her "attributes", but in her carelessness with the other preparations, Augustus changed the brew for regular coffee and the other discarded it, leaving nothing to incriminate him and left.
The Enormous Being of the Dark House by @germanandradeg
I went to the door and rang the bell. I waited and there was no answer. I rang again and that's when I heard slow footsteps approaching. The door opened with a creaking sound from beyond the grave and a huge person appeared with a very unfriendly face.
Macbeth Much? by @jhymi
“And now,” they said in a deathly whisper. “The final touch.” They carried a handful of the last content in the bowl and I caught a whiff of something familiar. Coffee Beans. Reverently, they poured it into the cauldron and the most pleasant scent immediately emanated. I took a step closer and saw that the formerly dark liquid was now a golden brown under the gleam of the moonlight that was already beginning to fade away.
My Darling Ghost by @riverflows
Thyme becomes 'the whispering herb' as I pluck it from the hearth and sprinkle it from a theatric height. Lemon juice, squeezed into a coconut bowl, becomes the 'juice of a sorcerer, poured from his skull'. Thick and viscous honey is the 'nectar of the fairies'. Some years Sophie is more creative than others. This year is good. The syrup will be the best yet. The children will leave coins on the doorstep and they will be nourished by my potion. They will snatch it up and run squealing, and I will listen to them as they go bravely into the night and back to their mother's laps to sleep.
The Canephora Chronicles - The Portal to Boulevard 66 by @simplifylife
An old man opened the door with a hariken lamp in his hand. He looked ragged, but he had a twinkle of kindness on his face. As he shone the light on me to get a good look at me, that twinkle in his eyes changed to shock. He recognized me even though I had no idea who he was. That's not quite true, maybe I did not recognize his face, but I had a very good idea who this old man in front of me was.
The day mankind received a decaffeinated punishment by @chacald.dcymt
It all started in the evening hours when a guy was running along the paths of the French forest. He wanted to get as deep into the trees as possible to lose the crowd of people who wanted to lynch him.
Panting and exhausted, he stopped and took refuge in a cave formed by the rocks. He repeated to himself over and over again that it was humanity that was not ready for his discoveries and that he had nothing wrong with him, as everyone wanted him to think.
The Boy In A Coffee Bean Costume. by @amiegeoffrey
Fred confidently showcased his love for his passion through his coffee bean costume which inspired almost everyone to be fearless and determined in the pursuit of what set their soul on fire.
I watched how one of the moderators couldn't help but call him out to the podium as the best-dressed and most creative pupil.
A child the color of a coffee bean by @actioncats
The moment of his presentation and when Jose explained the process of making coffee, its benefits and how happy it made not only his parents but also many other people around the world and that is why he was proud to be the colour of a roasted coffee bean, the faces of his classmates and the teacher began to change and at the end of his presentation.
The Mysterious Customer by @ibbtammy
A few seconds after I gave him the coffee the mysterious customer kept on drinking the coffee like he was being forced to finish the whole thing in a heartbeat. While I kept on observing him like I did every single time he stopped by the Cafe, Gina's eyes were fixed on him as well, her mouth wide open.
Mutation by @irvinc
When I awoke I was sailing in the sea, and a slight pain spread up the side of my neck. The man was sitting next to me, he told me that everything would be all right... For several days I remained inside the boat, stunned, as if drunk, occasionally images of the man stuck to my neck would come to me, it was as if I was inside a dream...

There is a lot of creative energy triggered by coffee. Wonderful.
Coffee always accompanies me when I read or write, but I've never written a story around coffee.
These stories get me to consider it.
Congratulations to all the creative coffee lovers out there!
