Hola querido Hiver ¿qué tal va tu semana? Mis días han estado un poco desbordados de tantas cosas por hacer, que apenas y encuentro espacio para otras.

Pero lo importante es que lo encuentro, aunque a veces ese tiempo es cortito. Hoy quiero hablarte de eso, de los pequeños espacios que somos capaces de crear cuando son tan importantes las actividades que nos hacen bien.

But the important thing is that I find it, even if sometimes that time is short. Today I want to talk to you about that, about the small spaces that we are able to create when the activities that do us good are so important.

Las diferentes expresiones de arte han sido para mí desde hace mucho un tema de gran interés, en algunas me ha gustado intentar, y en otras me basta con apreciar lo que me hace sentir cada una de las creaciones que puedo encontrar.

The different expressions of art have been for me for a long time a subject of great interest, in some I have liked to try, and in others it is enough for me to appreciate what each of the creations I can find makes me feel.

De esta manera, el Zentangle ha sido un arte que quizá para muchos es aún desconocido, pero que de vez en cuanto le doy una oportunidad, sobre todo también porque es una práctica de dibujo que va acompañada de la meditación, y que se caracteriza por la creación de patrones de una forma no planificada.

In this way, Zentangle has been an art that perhaps for many is still unknown, but that from time to time I give it a chance, especially also because it is a drawing practice that is accompanied by meditation, and that is characterized by the creation of patterns in an unplanned way.

¿Qué quiere decir esto? Que no se empieza con una idea del resultado. Pues se comienza con trazos de una manera libre, dejándose llevar; por lo que no es estrictamente necesario tener grandes habilidades en el dibujo, pero esto no significa que no requiera concentración, todo lo contrario.

What does this mean? That you don't start with an idea of the result. You start with free strokes, letting yourself go, so it is not strictly necessary to have great drawing skills, but this does not mean that it does not require concentration, quite the contrary.

Este arte meditativo involucra formas geométricas, líneas, puntos, curvas y más, ayudando así a enfocar la atención y disminuir los estados de tensión y estrés. Y aunque de manera individual cada trazo pueda parecer sencillo, es la unión de cada uno de estos lo que forma una obra de arte compleja.

This meditative art involves geometric shapes, lines, dots, curves and more, thus helping to focus the attention and diminish states of tension and stress. And although individually each stroke may seem simple, it is the union of each of these that forms a complex work of art.

Así pues, en algunas ocasiones me he aplicado un poco, y la verdad ahora mismo es una de las actividades que me gusta frecuentar. Y aunque suele hacerse en blanco y negro como este ejemplo que dejo para ti de uno de mis trabajos...

So, on some occasions I have applied myself a little, and right now it is one of the activities that I like to frequent. And although it is usually done in black and white as this example I leave for you of one of my works....

En esta ocasión quiero mostrarte lo más reciente que he hecho en rojo porque el rotulador negro se había terminado. No es puramente Zentangle, más bien es un dibujo ya pensado y estructurado, pero con la colaboración de este arte, por lo que muchas partes las realice de forma libre hasta sentirme satisfecha con el resultado.

This time I want to show you the most recent thing I've done in red because the black marker had run out. It is not purely zentangle, it is rather a drawing already thought and structured but with the collaboration of this art, so many parts were done freely until I felt satisfied with the result.

Me hubiera gustado terminarlo mucho más rápido, pero la verdad solo puedo dedicar cortos tiempos, es por eso que todos los días al llegar del trabajo, me sentaba a dibujar un poco y así fui avanzando.

I would have liked to finish it much faster, but the truth is that I can only dedicate short times, that's why every day when I came home from work, I sat down to draw a little and that's how I progresse.

Principalmente comencé dibujando un corazón con un lápiz y además de ello, agregue varios hexágonos que realice con ayuda de una regla y compás.

I started drawing a heart with a pencil and added some hexagons that I made with the help of a ruler and compass.

Una vez tuve la estructura, me dispuse a ir rellenando con el rotulador cada espacio del corazón y de los hexágonos.
Para algunos espacios si necesite la ayuda de una regla y lápiz, pues quería formas exactas.

Once I had the structure, I started to fill in each space of the heart and the hexagons with the marker. For some spaces I did need the help of a ruler and pencil, as I wanted exact shapes.

Y para finalizar, comencé con varias líneas en el borde de la hoja que la verdad, me encantaron como quedaron. También agregue un poco de sombra con un lápiz al fondo de la hoja y en los bordes de las estructuras para un mejor resultado.

And to finish, I started with several lines on the edge of the sheet, which I really loved. I also added a bit of shadow with a pencil at the bottom of the sheet and on the edges of the structures for a better result.
