Time tested
How are you everyone? It's so nice to be here again. And hope everyone is doing great and happy.
And a while ago it was raining heavily here in our area. And as I watched the rain I couldn't stop worrying about my ornamental plants and vegetable plants.
And to calm my worries, I drank coffee while looking around. I feel relieved because almost everything is okay and the plants around seem happy.

And I went to the back of the house and I looked at the plants there and they were fine as well as the ones on the side. But when the wind blew, I heard sounds like something broke and fell. I was again worried about what it was. So I really waited for the rain to stop so I could go and check.
And when the rain stopped, I immediately went to the garden and looked at the eggplant, pechay, pepper, okra, kangkong, tomatoes ampalaya, spinach and string beans and they were all fine.
And when I saw my papaya I was sad because it was broken and the fruits were scattered. I can't stop feeling sad because this papaya breed is different from my other papayas. So, I encourage myself to plant this papaya again.
And I'm still thankful because the other papaya is standing and fine as well.
And also I checked my ornamental plants are also fine and looks happy.
And even though I was sad but when I saw the mulberry I was happy because it had fruit again.
And how are your garden guys?
That's all about my garden today. Thank you for reading and dropping by. See you in my next post.
Have a happy Saturday everyone 😊😊😊😊
That rain looks so refreshing! We need some bad here where I live.
Hello @jonyoudyer yes rain sometimes can refresh our plants and sometimes can cause damages. And i hope that one day a good rain will come to your area. Happy sunday ☺️☺️☺️
aggg... it does that here when it rains. The rain is so heavy to destroys things. the joys of the subtropics. At least the plants that survived got a well needed drink. So sorry about the papaya. Our last big storm took out my favourite chili plant. It has recovered a bit... but not heaps.
Hope you can replant the tree.
Blingit (sarah)
Hello @blingit yes heavy rains destroy everything. And we also experienced strong storm last december and that was Odette. How sad Odette devastated everything here but life must go on.
And also im sorry about your chili plant.
And soon i will try to replant. Thank you @blingit and happy sunday 😊😊😊😊
They are powerful storms to be sure, Just before i was married we lost everything in a large storm here in queensland. My wedding shoes went floating down the river with our fridge... lol....
