THE FRUIT AND JOY OF MY LABOR

Greetings,

Hello gardeners and fellow hivians it's my pleasure to be here again. From the start of gardening it is not easy to cultivate the soil to prepare for planting but exciting. On the first day of sowing a seeds, it is really fun to wait for the seed to germinate. And it is very challenging to take care of it every day. Nurtured to grow well. But it is inevitable that there will be insects that will destroy the plants. Because I have a little knowledge of how to anticipate and get rid of insects, it was immediately resolved. And now I want to show you the results of my labor for a few months. My efforts really paid off.

Let’s start with the eggplant. That has fruits and flowers next. There is very little to be harvested now but next time there will be a lot.

Here in ampalaya, there are many fruits and many flowers that will later become fruits as well. My ampalaya breed is beautiful with large fruits. I thought it was matured because it was big but it was still young.

Okra is even taller than me and has fruit but is still small. It has a beautiful flower and after a few days it will also bear fruit.

Long green pepper has many fruits and can be harvested anytime and I no longer buy in the market.

I have never planted garlic but I tried two. It has grown and I will try my best to take good care of it. Very challenging because this is my first garlic care. For those who have an idea out there on garlic care,I am asking for an idea please.

String onions with each passing day it gradually increases. And anytime I can get a few.

And this is spring onions but it's a different breed. I tried to take care of one and I didn't put it in the garden first, I'll make sure that its growth is stable.

Ginger it's already growing and I don't know yet if there are many of them under the soil maybe next month I'll try to see if I will be surprise by ginger.

String beans have fruit and also have flowers. There are two breeds of string beans that I take care of. One is I’m still waiting for it to bear fruit and I’m excited to see how good the fruit is.

Moringa is getting taller with each passing day. Its fat and healthy.

Pechay/ snow cabbage I have a new plant of pechay because I just finished harvesting. We have a lot of harvest and we give away because it won't run out right away.

Chinese water spinach it is full of protection because the chicken wants to scrape it and I always visit it to get rid of the chicken.

Lemon grass is getting thicken, fat and grow healthy. It is more what we need everyday and also we can share it to our neighbors.

It's worth the effort of a few months of taking care of my vegetables. It is also a big help on a daily basis because we can no longer buy in the market. And if there are any to buy, there are only a few.
