Enjoy the harvest ,accept failure but don't give up and keep on going
Hello everyone. I miss posting here. I haven't posted in a while because I've been busy with my daily life. No matter how busy I am,I never forget being a gardener. I really give it time because it contributes a lot to our lives. Apart from earning money , it also helps our health.
And today my time is pretty ok, nothing much to do so I cleaned the kitchen. And I was saddened by what I saw because the spring onions were turning yellow and I was worried that they might be completely spoiled. So I thought I would plant it.
And while I was walking around the yard looking for a place to plant spring onions, I saw my husband busy picking ripe mulberry fruit.
And as I continued walking around, I saw this broken basin so I thought I would plant the spring onions here.
And also I saw a bag of soil mixed with rice hulls, so I asked my husband to help me pour the soil into the broken basin. And it is good for plant because it has organic fertilizer.
And after we poured the sack of soil, I immediately started planting spring onions one by one.
And after I planted it, I immediately watered it.
After watered it, I went around my garden and picked eggplants. And I'm happy with my eggplant because it's a good variety, it's not very long but it has a lot of fruit.
And I also went to pick my okra and it was really fun.
And this is my naughty nephew who is supposed to bring our picked vegetables.
And here on the side of our house, I am happy to show you my calamansi tree, which has many fruits. With the severity of what my calamansi tree is going through from typhoon odette, it almost died and this past month with hot weather, it is really resisting . We still able to see its beauty and provides us many fruits.
I was happy with the other crops but with snow cabbage I was a little disappointed because the chickens scratched it. Maybe that's how time will test, not everything we have is successful but next time I will give more time on it,but even so ,I reaped a little.
In a few months, weeks and days of taking care of my crops, this is the reward, many fruits to be harvested at any time.
That's all about my garden and hope you like it guys . See you again.
In this time we have to be innovative as much as we can in order for us to have plants at home. Even if we don't have much space, we can still plant if we have things like that. What I used for my plants are the empty water bottles.
They served as a good pot really.
You have a lot of harvest by the way, I'm happy for you.
Very beautiful produce from your garden.
Thank you so much my friend @jude9 . Thanks for stopping by 🥰
Hello @marcus2201 And the best thing about the empty bottles or broken basins we used is that we helped to reduce the plastic waste around us a little bit. I am happy that you are happy for me friend.
Thank you for visiting.🥰🥰🥰
Yeah .. and that's why I really like doing it. You gonna have plants and help the environment at the same time.
You just reminded me to also plant this... and I hope to be successful.
Hello @afterglow according to my friend how to succeed in nurturing spring onions. If it is alive, it should be fertilized every week for it to thrive. I will try to do it kabayan. Umpisahan mo na itanim ang spring onions mo kaibigan para may kasabay po ako.🥰🥰
Thank you kabayan sa info. In the coming days try ko na itanim.
