What a beautiful and mesmerising story you tell to compliment the photos of this gorgeous and historic place- which allows other stories to fill my imagination, especially when I look at those house, but more importantly, the almost non-sensical, higgildippiggeldy of the cobblestones, for they are not uniform, more 'contemporary' cobblestones, but seem to be more random, thrown together which I imagine to be much older than the norm. Am I right?
Such a great walk- now and then and I thank you for sharing it as I have now noted down Balchik as another destination to visit when I eventually get t Bulgaria.

You're right, the pavement is hundreds of years old. I hope you can visit this corner of the world sometimes, it's a long way from where you live but you never know.

Yes I do agree, it is a pleasure to share here, more so than with my IRL friends on FB...which is kind of weird, but maybe not..
