In an effort to diversify El Salvador's economy, El Salvador is purchasing another 100 units of Bitcoin after the price drop from last week. El Salvador had purchased their first 100 units for 11 cents each back in December during the market surge.

El Presidente Antonio Saca said, "In El Salvador our biggest import is food and our biggest export is coffee. It costs El Salvador more to buy a cup of coffee from someone else than it does for us to grow a whole plantation." Saca continued on about how El Salvador's current economic system was hampering their growth as a nation and that they were going to do something about it with Bitcoin City – a planned community where everything will be paid for in bitcoin instead of El Salvador Dollars.

" El Salvador has already purchased 10% of El Salvador's food supply for next month in Bitcoin, which will only gain value in El Salvador Dollars as time passes. We are starting to see El Salvador dollars leaving the country at an increasing rate - people are buying more bitcoin instead." - Mr. Saca

El Presidente Antonio Saca has said that El Salvador is becoming poorer by the day with their current economic system and that they're going to do something about it by using Bitcoin to purchase everything. El Presidente also went on about how this was not a gimmick or a ploy to get better election results come next election cycle, but rather El Presidente wanted his legacy to be one of for El Salvador.

Saca continued, " El Salvador is not poor. El Salvador has El Salvador Dollars of value that represent El Salvador's economy of El Salvador. El Presidente Tony Saca wants to unite the world with El Salvador's economy of El Salvador." Saca had this to say about his legacy: "All I want for my country is peace and prosperity, and I will do whatever it takes to make sure that my people are taken care of. We're looking at ways to use Bitcoin City as a model for other nations around the world too – let us lead by example!"

With another 100 units being purchased during the market dip by El Presidente Antonio Saca, El Presidente may have just set off a chain reaction that sees more leaders around the world follow El Salvador's lead and purchase Bitcoin. El Presidente Saca said, "It is El Salvador's duty to be a leader in innovation – not just El Salvador." El Presidente continued on about how other nations would come around soon, after El Salvador led the way.

"We cannot rely on other countries to make decisions for El Salvador – El Salvador needs to do this for itself." - El Presidente Antonio Saca

The first 100 units of Bitcoin that El Salvador purchased have been transferred into the first phase of Bitcoin City as a sort of down payment on rent payments to see what was possible with this new technology.
