most people including myself in the past, think and misunderstood the difference between knowledge, understanding and wisdom, thinking that they are all the same, they are similar and work hand in hand, but they are not the same, you will hear words like I have the knowledge of this, I have an understanding of this, I have the wisdom of this, but in actual meaning, this word has their meaning and where they are used in a sentence.

knowledge is the access to information, knowledge is an integer part of man's life, one can be knowledgeable yet still not be blessed by that knowledge, it is the first step of what you want to do, most companies in the world today employ someone because he is knowledgeable, but for that to be effective, you need to know the dynamics of operation, that where understanding comes in play, knowing something or having access to information is just a step to progress, but without proper understanding, one can't tell the difference between those that have knowledge and one that doesn't have access to that information.

• understanding
  understanding is the step after having access to information, when one has knowledge of something, but can't produce the same result over again, then that person hasn't gotten a basic understanding of that, understanding talks about the dynamic of operation the process at which one arrives to the solution.
  one can play football and accidentally score, but that doesn't mean that he has an understanding of that, he may score by chance, he can only have an understanding of that if only he can reproduce that process over again. understanding is the level of mastery, where one can produce the same result, without having differences from the previous product.
• wisdom
  wisdom is the application of the access to information you have, the dynamics of operation, one can have access to information, without taking advantage of it, and another can have access to information and also know that dynamic of operations, but not put it into work.
  wisdom is the application of both knowledge and understanding
  one can have the knowledge of football, also know the dynamic of operation i.e, if he plays the ball with his leg the ball will move, knowing all that, if he doesn't come to the field to play the game, then he has not actually applied the whole concept of wisdom.
