The name is chidistickz and this week I decided to do a cover of any song within the space of 3/4, yeah using that counting method. I had many songs that were within this loop pattern ( or whatever you call it), but I remembered a song i came across on Facebook, the title of the song is IKECHI ( the power of God). It's a song by TEESTRINGS RUTHIE an amazing up coming gospel artist, this is just one of her amazing songs and to your surprise, it wasn't done in a studio, she just did a short video of the song, trust me this is so so meaningful and of course beautiful 😍.

The lyrics of the song is quite simple and the rythm is very emotional. I use to sing this song whenever I feel down coz that's an emotional moment and this song so fits that moment. The rythm is also lovely and cool, I love the chord progression for the song, it's just perfect for the song, that's the magic in music, the perfect combo between lyrics and rythm/ melody.

The power of God have no limits on the inside of every man, it flows like a river, no wonder the scriptures said " out of your belly shall flow rivers of living waters". All we have to do is to connect to the source which is Christ, he's the author and finisher of our faith, this means everything starts and ends with him. God gave us beyond his powers, he gave us peace even in the midst of the storm, Infact when it comes to the peace and relief that God gives, the Bible says he gives peace and joy that the world can't offer.

I learnt how to play this song some months ago, I've played it somany times so it wasn't a problem figuring it out, just like I said earlier, from the first time I heard this song, I fell for the chord progression, the progression is so melodious, it feels perfect for the song.

Es una canción de TEESTRINGS RUTHIE una increíble artista gospel, esta es una de sus increíbles canciones y para tu sorpresa, no fue hecha en un estudio, ella solo hizo un corto video de la canción, créeme esto es tan significativo y por supuesto hermoso 😍.

La letra de la canción es bastante sencilla y el ritmo es muy emotivo. Suelo cantar esta canción siempre que me siento mal porque es un momento emotivo y esta canción encaja en ese momento. Me encanta la progresión de acordes de la canción, es perfecta para ella, esa es la magia de la música, la combinación perfecta entre letra y ritmo/melodía.
