A farmhouse visit on Sunday!
Sunday is the day of some rest, fun and to do something different. If you get a chance to go to the farm house, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, then the fun of Sunday becomes double.
Last Sunday I got a chance to visit such farm house about 25 km from our city. It was not too big farm house but was well maintained and peaceful enough to spend some quality time there with family.

A lot of fruit bearing plants/tree like Java plum or Indian blackberry(Jamun), Mango, Papaya, Custard Apple, Mulberry, Pomegranate etc were there. But we couldn't get chance to have those fruit as it is not a season of these fruits here. Only some seasonal Papaya and Pomegranate were available.
Various types of vegetables like Cluster bean, Okra, Spring Onion etc were there in abundance. No chemicals were used to grow them, so all were organic.

It is so satisfactory to harvest some vegetables for cooking. We do not get such amazing moments in our house in city area as all and is used to construct the house. Here I got such chance and enjoyed a lot. Although working in farm is a tedious job but gives a lot of satisfaction also.

No one can beat the taste and flavour of organic, freshly harvested and cooked vegetables. It is so satisfying and healthy. We cooked okra with onion.
