What is the software you are using normally for drafting and drawings preparation?

Working as a Landscape Architect in Singapore, generally I have been use Adobe Photoshop, Autodesk AutoCAD and some other drafting software to prepare the drawings. Currently some architect firms are using BIM, REVIT and Vector Works for drawing preparation and authority’s drawings submission.

These years, we could browsing news from internet, social media or newspaper regarding the global issues such as seawater rising, environment pollution, global warming, climate change, etc. Covid-19 pandemic is the most awful issue and a signal to all of us to think about how to save and protect our earth and environment.

Recently, I get to know about NFT market for creators, artists, and designers to promote their art works or products in crypto world.

When I think to draw something for posting in NFT, my first ideas come out from my mind is to draw some art works about our earth!

ENVIRONMENT POLLUTION

Environment pollution is a global environmental problem which has been around for many years and the issue is getting more and more serious. Human immoralities have always harmed the environment. Through education, instilling people and the next generation to reduce the usage of plastic bags, reuse, recycling and reclaiming the materials. Vegetarian is also an environmentally friendly behaviour that reducing killing animals.

GLOBAL WARMING

The issue of global warming, climate change, rising sea water are getting obvious. Human destroy nature, cut down and burning forests, destroy the wildlife habitats, develop and construct new buildings, facilities, roads, subways, underground tunnels and so on without considering the environment issues. Through education and instilling people and the next generation go green, reforestation, cultivate more tree planting to balance between nature environment conservation and new development.

COVID-19 PANDEMIC

Covid-19 pandemic is the most devastating global public health problem. A total death of worldwide is about 6.1 million people, people lost their family members in this pandemic, and it is still increasing as the new variants keeping appear. The spreading of the virus in worldwide has a great impact on people’s physical and mental health, and also global economy. A numbers of business closed down, some went bankrupt and became poor. Since the pandemic, people realise the importance of nature and wildlife animal, support to go vegan, concerning environmental, nature and wildlife habitats.

WAR

This year Russia invasion of Ukraine began with attacks by land, sea and air. This has forced the people living in Ukraine flee to safety. Scenes of jammed highways and panic buying at supermarkets are commonly seen in country.
War carried huge ricks for world economy recovering from pandemic through financial sanctions, commodities prices, inflation, and oil prices to jump high, tragic loss of life and human suffering.
We hope the war will stop soon, go back to peaceful and safe world.

In generally, I want to express that the earth we are living in has been sick for a long time. The Covid-19 pandemic and war in recent years showing that our world is not peaceful and safe at all. I want to draw the issues faced by the earth through NFT and I hope everyone will resonate with it after seeing it.

Start from hand sketch the ideas before scan into computer for digitizing into softcopies. Then draw the outline in AutoCAD and convert into PDF files for coloring in Adobe Photoshop.

The draft design was changed after collecting the comments from families and friends. After finalising, I had uploaded some art works in OpenSea.io

I always hope that our earth would recovering and not be destroyed by human irresponsibility activities, we should aware and concern about this.
