Some of the lessons learnt and short video from the teaching by bro Eli Soriano

It is our obligation to seek the Lord. In all that we do it is important to seek him always.

Acts 17:26-27
:26. And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
:27. That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

It is the goodness of God that leads to our repentance.

Romans 2:4
Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

We are brought near to God by the blood of Christ because initially, we were far from God. The blood of Jesus speak for us, therefore, it is important we seek the Lord.

Ephesians 2:11-13
:11. Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;
:12. That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
:13. But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

If we really want to see God, there will be obstacle but we need the spirit of God to withstand it.

1 Peter 5:8
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

I also learnt that the word of God need to be well rooted in my heart honestly in order for satan not to take it away from me especially through temptation period.

God promise us a new heart even if the heart is stony, He'll turn it to a fleshy one.

Ezekiel 36:26-28
:26. A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
:27. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
:28. And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

God overlook our ignorant period

1 Timothy 1:13-15
:13. Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.
:14. And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
:15. This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

God truly overlook our ignorant period but we must not remain in the sin.

The unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God but with the spirit of our Lord Jesus in us, we are justified.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11
:9. Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
:10. Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
:11. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
