Hello dear music lovers around the world, how are you doing? Hopefully, you are all doing great. These past few days I've been looking for interesting music topics to write about here, and I'm really looking for inspiration. Apart from that, I was also sick for several days which made it really uncomfortable for me to do activities. I just stay at home and lie down in my room, resting and recovering my condition. My stomach ache has recurred and this is the first time the feeling and symptoms are very painful. In this situation, I am often alone in my room, resting while sometimes thinking about many things.

One time, I thought that when I experienced pain like this, I was alone and had no one around me, near me. I definitely can't. I've never been able to live alone, even though I was often alone when I was little because my parents worked, but I didn't really live alone. I also thought, what if my anxiety recurs and I experience a sudden panic attack and I'm alone? What if at that time I was still single and didn't have a partner? I have to do everything myself and face everything myself. It's like a nightmare for me.

Then I accidentally heard Green Day's song entitled Boulevard of Broken Dreams in my room. This is an interpretation from my point of view :

I walk a lonely road
The only one that I have ever known

Means someone who walks alone in his life, he lives alone without anyone who can accompany him. He continues to live his life without knowing his true direction. So, he felt he had no direction in life or a future. He let everything flow without a plan.

His life path is empty, he is on a path of life where his dreams have been shattered. While other people around him were living calm and normal lives, he was the opposite. His life is uneasy and full of problems. He lives alone and laments his fate. Feeling like walking alone on a path of destruction and suffering.

He said that his shadow was the only one who accompanied him, meaning, he had no one but himself. Sometimes he also thinks about what makes his life chaotic and doesn't run smoothly and it feels like everything is still fine. Until he made sure he was still in normal condition and fine. He felt his own thoughts were problematic and in that battle of thoughts he remains alone in facing everything.
