Street art a protective saint | CCC's Street Art Contest #149 [Eng-Esp]
Greetings fellow street art lovers! Today I would like to join the CCC's Street Art Contest #149 with a series of paintings on the wall that decorate some spaces in my city.
I have dedicated other publications to Doctor José Gregorio Hernández, because he is one of the most popular saints of the faith in my country.
The first image belongs to the front of the cemetery of Táriba, Táchira state, in Venezuela. It was part of a series of murals that were made in 2015 with donations from the families of the community and the painter Franklin Contreras stands out with another beautiful street piece.
About 500 meters from this mural, is the hospital called Dr. José Gregorio Hernández. There we also find a couple of murals in honor of this doctor who dedicated his life to help people with low resources and did not charge them for his medical services.
In the plaza of the hospital there is also a small sculpture in honor of the doctor, where nurses and patients leave flowers to decorate the entrance of this small hospital.

Arte de calle Un santo protector
¡Saludos amigos amantes del arte callejero! Hoy me gustaría sumarme al CCC's Street Art Contest #149 con una serie de pinturas sobre la pared que me decoran algunos espacios de mi ciudad.
He dedicado otras publicaciones al Doctor José Gregorio Hernández, es que es uno de los santos más populares de la fe de mi país.
La primera imagen, pertenece a la parte frontal del cementerio de Táriba, estado Táchira, en Venezuela. Fue parte de una serie de murales que se hicieron en el año 2015 con donaciones de las familias de la comunidad y el pintor Franklin Contreras se destaca con otra bella pieza de calle.
A unos 500 metros de este mural, se encuentra el hospital llamado Dr. José Gregorio Hernández. Allí también encontramos un par de murales en honor a este doctor que dedicó su vida a ayudar a las personas con bajos recursos y no les cobraba sus servicios médicos.
En la plaza del hospital también se encuentra una pequeña escultura en homenaje al doctor, donde los enfermeros y pacientes dejan flores para adornar la entrada de este pequeño hospital.
