Greetings to all! Today I would like to share with the beautiful people of @hivecuba since for me Cuba is my second home and I feel as Cuban as I do Venezuelan.

When I started #Hive in 2020, I was living in Cuba, in the small municipality of Carlos Manuel de Céspedes in the province of Camagüey, where I lived since 2016. I am Venezuelan, I fell in love with a Cuban and he wanted to take me to his country and I accepted. When I arrived he took me to a beautiful beach in Holguin and proposed to me, we got married in Cuba and started this beautiful journey of forming a family and today we have 9 years of being together and a 2 year old Camagüey baby girl.

We are currently in Venezuela, we have been sharing with the Venezuelan family for 8 years, whom I missed a lot since I have not seen them for 5 years. But once you are part of this beautiful island, with its warm people and customs, you carry the island impregnated in your heart.

I miss my friends, the neighbors who adopted me as a daughter, because if there is something Cuban people have, it is that feeling of familiarity that they transmit. I miss their coffee and their customs. Taking a car to go somewhere, buying a peanut cone or some rositas for a snack.

I hope soon to return to my home in Cuba. We are teaching our daughter both customs so that she feels both Cuban and Venezuelan since blood from both countries runs through her veins.

I could not compare living in Cuba or Venezuela, they are both extraordinary experiences in their own way and when you feel at home in one place you cannot choose only one to live in. A few days ago I wrote about the best coffee in the world which for me is that Cuban coffee, the one made with love. I was able to express in those lines how important Cuba is for me since my heart is divided between my homeland and this beautiful land that adopted me as a daughter and to which I have so much to thank.
