Hoy quise compartir con ustedes una balada rock muy bonita, de la poderosa banda alemana Scorpions.

Today I wanted to share with you a very nice rock ballad by the mighty German band Scorpions.

Les cuento, aunque varios acá ya lo saben, que hace varios años formé parte de una banda de heavy metal acá en mi ciudad. Recuerdo que esta canción estuvo entre las propuestas por mi amigo Simon, quien era el vocalista de la banda, para incluirla en nuestro repertorio de covers. En aquél momento yo me inclinaba por canciones más técnicas, más rapidas o más agresivas. Que tonto era! Ignoraba por completo el poder de esta canción, así como de muchas otras baladas heavy que poco a poco fuí descubriendo y espero tener oportunidad de poder compartirlas con todos ustedes.

I tell you, although many here already know it, that several years ago I was part of a heavy metal band here in my city. I remember that this song was among those proposed by my friend Simon, who was the vocalist of the band, to be included in our repertoire of covers. At that time I was leaning towards more technical, faster or more aggressive songs. What a fool I was! I was completely unaware of the power of this song, as well as many other heavy ballads that I gradually discovered and I hope to have the opportunity to share them with all of you.
