Hello lifestyle friends, I want to share my experience at La Chinita International Airport in the city of Maracaibo - Venezuela, which was the first time visiting and also my first time traveling to Maracaibo.
Yesterday I returned to Quito - Ecuador, the city where I currently reside after three months of vacation in Barquisimeto - Venezuela with my family and friends, it was a trip that I put together in less than a week, which is customary in me. After looking for several flight options, the best option economically was to leave from the airport of Maracaibo but I had to travel from my city Barquisimeto on Sunday night to Maracaibo which was about 7 hours by bus, arriving in Maracaibo on Monday morning I could confirm why they call it the land of the beloved sun, the truth it was very hot and although I did not know much, the little I saw I liked it.
I decided to go to the airport as soon as possible, I was already there at 9am and my flight was leaving at 4pm to Panama where I had a 2 hour layover and finally Ecuador, I wanted to share some information and tip of La Chinita International Airport in the city of Maracaibo, which I hope will help you if you plan to leave or arrive at this airport.
A curious fact is that the airport has two completely separate terminals that do not communicate or share access, or waiting room or food fair, literally two different airports: one for domestic arrivals and departures, this is larger and busier, has a food fair with a variety of food the truth I liked more this terminal and the other terminal is for international arrivals and departures, which is smaller and has only one food restaurtan and both the staff of this terminal and the counters only work when arriving or departing flights.
My tip if you arrive or depart from Maracaibo airport is to eat and spend most of the time in the domestic terminal and then two hours before your flight go to the international terminal, although they are next to each other you have to walk to the different entrances and with the baggages it becomes more uncomfortable.

Hola amigos de lifestyle, les quiero compartir mi experiencia en el Aeropuerto Internacional de La Chinita de la ciudad de Maracaibo - Venezuela, el cual era la primera vez que conocía y también mi primera vez que viajaba a Maracaibo.
El día de ayer retorné a Quito - Ecuador, la ciudad donde resido actualmente luego de tres meses de vacaciones en Barquisimeto - Venezuela con mi familia y amigos, fue un viaje que armé en menos de una semana, cosa que es de costumbre en mi. Luego de buscar varias opciones de vuelo, la mejor opción económicamente fue salir desde el aeropuerto de Maracaibo pero tenía que viajar desde mi ciudad Barquisimeto el domingo de noche a Maracaibo lo cual fue unas 7 horas en bus, al llegar a Maracaibo en la mañana de lunes pude confirmar el porque le dicen la tierra del sol amada, la verdad hacia mucho calor y aunque no conocí mucho, lo poco que vi me gusto.
Decidí ir al aeropuerto lo más pronto, ya a las 9am estaba allí y mi vuelo salía a las 4pm con destino a Panamá donde tuve una escala de 2 horas y finalmente Ecuador, les quería compartir datos o tips del Aeropuerto Internacional de La Chinita, de la ciudad de Maracaibo, que espero te sirvan de ayuda si planeas salir o llegar a este aeropuerto.
Un dato curioso es que el aeropuerto cuenta con dos terminales completamente independientes ya que no se comunican ni comparten accesos, ni sala de espera ni feria de comidas, literal dos aeropuertos distintos: uno para entradas y salidas nacionales, este es más grande y más concurrido, cuenta con una feria de comida con mucha variedad de comida la verdad me gustó más esta terminal y el otro terminal es de entradas y salidas internacionales, el cual es más pequeño y cuenta con solo un local de comida y tanto el personal de este terminal como de los counters solo trabajan al momento que llegan o salen los vuelos.
Mi tip si llegan o salen del aeropuerto de Maracaibo es que coman y pasen el mayor tiempo en el terminal nacional y ya luego dos horas antes de su vuelo se dirigen al terminal internacional, que aunque están uno al lado del otro se tiene que caminar hasta las distintas entradas y con las maletas se hace más engorroso.
