Irreplaceable Rajghat; Western shore of the Saryu Ghat.
Greetings dear Hiveans
The expansion of the religious city of Ayodhya is at its peak at this time. Not only the width of the roads and the road connecting the headquarters are being widened, but the roads that lead to various pilgrimage sites are also being renovated. At the western end of the Parikrama Marg is a very beautiful natural place called Rajghat, which has been recently renovated in a wonderful way. It would be more appropriate to say that it has been renovated. Although initially this park was known by the name of Jain Tirthankar Rishabhdev, which was opened to the general public in the 1980s.
Later on it was renovated and expanded. Although the city of Ayodhya is located on the banks of River Saryu, but if you come to Rajghat Park, then the height above sea level from here will be very high. The western end is situated at a very high altitude as compared to the city. This is the reason that when there is a flood in the sea then it does not affect it. However after slipping from this height it is impossible to save anyone, because there is a very deep ravine below and after that River Saryu starts.
If you have visited 14 Kosi Parikrama then you must be knowing this place because 14 Kosi Parikrama Marg has been constructed right next to it. A 21 feet high statue of 24th Tirthankar Rishabhdev has been built here which is still well preserved. Another small statue has also been built with it which was later made to make the park attractive. Now let's talk about those things in this park which promote tourism and attract people from other countries and states. Another thing here which attracts people is the statue of a woman who is seen in different postures while watering the plants.
In the local language this place is called Valley of Flowers because a large number of flower beds have been planted along the western sea shore due to which it is named Rajghat. In this park you will find statues of all kinds of animals and birds, most of which are made of stone. When the crowd and noise of the city starts bothering people, they come here in search of peace.
Anyway this city is known as Dharam Nagri which is like a center of ancient cultures, where you will find various evidences of history in dilapidated condition.
Aamava Temple is located at a distance of about 1 kilometer from here, which falls on the way to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi. Here too you will find many examples of architectural art. In the ancient temples here, you will find pictures of various historical people, kings, poets etc. painted on the walls.
Initially, you could see the architectural art of these temples anytime, but at present, since it has been developed as a tourist city. Due to which some restrictions have been imposed on these temples. In other words, now these ancient temples are becoming a source of income which attracts tourists. Aamava Temple, which is said to be the temple of Shri Ram Ji, but as soon as you enter from the main gate, you will find a huge statue of Lord Shiva.
The most special thing about this temple is that you will get free food for 12 hours. If you come to this place as a tourist, then you do not need to go to any hotel for food, rather various types of dishes are made available to the people here free of cost. This is a very big trust in which various organizations contribute for the welfare of the people. You will be surprised to know that about ten thousand people eat here every day. Cantonment Temple is located about 500 meters from here where you will find amazing examples of architectural art. The temple looks like a ruin from outside but when we enter inside then we get mesmerized by the paintings done on the walls.
These statues are of the sages and poets who were found during the Ramayana period. Whatever was told by our ancestors about the Ramayana period, sufficient evidence of it is found here. At present, the entire focus of the government is on developing Naya Ghat and the area around it as a tourist destination, due to which the importance of the temples around it has also increased.
This religious city is being preserved as a heritage of ancient cultures so that the coming generations can not only see them but also know their ancient history. The means of transportation are being completely expanded here and an airport has also been built about 12 kilometers from this place so that tourists coming from other countries can get convenience. To reach here, you will have to take the help of a local ride.
Due to being a highly crowded area, heavy vehicles and public transport have been completely banned. The route connecting the headquarters and Naya Ghat has been completely arranged so that people entering the city do not face any problem.
Most of the temples have been built on Naya Ghat and there are many sources of ancient architecture. Whoever comes from outside, first comes from this place and from here leaves for different places.
To solve the traffic problem, the routes going from here have been diverted and connected to the highway so that more and more devotees come from the eastern end of the city and there is no crowd in the middle of the city. If you also believe in tourism, then definitely come here once, you will definitely get to see amazing things.
Recently, after the construction of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, a crowd of lakhs gathered here. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi is a unique temple of Ayodhya in which it has been constructed using the most expensive metal. Local people are still waiting for their party to reach there because there is still a crowd of outside tourists.
Thanks for your valuable time…
