Mi-Jiang Italian Restaurant in Taiwan

Mi-Jiang Italian Restaurant has been open for years. Actually, I have watched a TV show to introduce Mi-Jiang restaurant.
For some reason, we never choose it when we don't know what to eat. Maybe it's because my husband is not interested in pasta.

On that day, I went out for lunch alone, I decided to give it a chance. Hope that it's a great restaurant that can be included in my often-visit restaurant list.

Decoration

I was attracted by their bright blue signboard which drew shop name the artist Miro style which is so cute.

The walls are painted in different colors and drew many cute illustrations. It seems that I fell into a scene of a fairy tale.
They use wooden tables, chairs, and elegant wooden cabinets to create a county style.
But they also hang big black classic crystal chandeliers on the ceiling. It's interesting that it forms a strong contrast with the bright and lively walls.

Menu

Let's check out the menu!
The menu is also hand-written and with lots of drawings on it. It seems that the owner of the restaurant has a childish heart.

There are many flavors to choose from. After you choose the flavor, you can choose to make spaghetti, penne, rice, or squid ink pasta.
They provide some vegetarian food and different egg dishes. I would like to try some next time.
Every main dish comes with a cup of black tea. You can deduct $20 to order another beverage.
They provide soup which you can serve yourself as much as you want. You can also order chef soup and salad.

Red Curry Penne with Chicken and Crab $210

I ordered Red Curry Penne with Chicken and Crab.
I always like Thai food so that I can't resist ordering it.
The red color is from dried red peppers. This pasta is not very spicy so that you don't need to worry if you don't eat spicily.
They put some cherry tomatoes so that the spicy of the pasta is mild and with fruit flavor.
My pasta is delicious. But it tastes more like white cream with a little curry aroma rather than Thai style.

Dessert

Their dessert looks good and is not expensive.
I didn't order any this time. But I am interested in their Tiramisu.

They drew the menu of dessert and beverages on the blackboard. Those drawing are so cute.

There are no other guests when I had my lunch there which is beyond my expectation.

Their food is great and not expensive. I thought this restaurant should be popular since they have open for years.
The second and third floor is not available because of the influence of covid-19. Maybe it's the reason that fewer people dine in the restaurant.

I hope that the impact of the epidemic will be gone as soon as possible. Otherwise, it's possible that there will be fewer and fewer restaurants in the future.
