Hola nuevamente mis amigos amantes de la costura, espero estén muy bien, se me ha hecho un poco complicado publicar como me gustaría pero igual he sacado un poco de tiempo para compartir hoy con ustedes la remodelación de esta chaqueta. Esta prenda me la regalo una amiga hace unos días, me dijo que ya no lo usaba ya que no sabía con que combinarlo, y yo no desaproveche esta oportunidad ya que al momento de verlo se me ocurrieron varias ideas, hasta un pequeño bolso…pero termino siendo un lindo chaleco.

Hello again my friends who love sewing, I hope you are very well, it has been a bit difficult for me to publish as I would like but I have still taken a little time to share with you today the remodeling of this jacket. This garment was given to me by a friend a few days ago, she told me that she no longer used it since she did not know what to combine it with, and I did not miss this opportunity because when I saw it I had several ideas, even a small bag... but It ended up being a nice vest.

Mis materiales serán, la chaqueta, hilo, aguja, tijera e hilo y lo coseré a mano.

My materials will be, the jacket, thread, needle, scissors and thread and I will sew it by hand.

Lo primero que haré será separar los bolsillos.

The first thing I'll do is separate the pockets.

Para esto utilizaré una hojilla.

For this I will use a blade.

Y así nos quedaran los dos bolsillos para luego reposicionarlos.

And so we will have the two pockets and then reposition them.

Con esto listo procedí cortar un poco de las mangas ya que para mi gusto estaban muy anchas.

With this ready, I proceeded to cut a little of the sleeves since for my taste they were too wide.

Una vez hecho esto el siguiente paso es coser las pinzas en el área del busto.

Once this is done the next step is to sew the darts on the bust area.

Ahora para darle un toque distintivo, tomare una hojilla y quitare la costura que se encuentra en el centro de la espalda.

Now to give it a distinctive touch, I will take a blade and remove the seam that is in the center of the back.

Luego deshilache todo el borde.

Then fray the entire edge.

Y aquí está el resultado luego de deshilachar un rato.

And here is the result after fraying for a while.

Con esto listo ahora solo queda coser, en la foto les mostrare como.

Ya que no me agrada el largo del chaleco hare un corte en la parte frontal pero dejare la parte de atrás intacta dando un efecto de cola.

Since I don't like the length of the vest I will make a cut in the front part but I will leave the back part intact giving a train effect.

Una vez hecho esto, solo queda colocar los bolsillos en su nueva posición y ya que al quitarle el largo al chaleco este perdió los flecos que traía originalmente, para reparar esto sin tener que deshilachar nuevamente, solo tome la pieza que sobro al cortar el largo y de ella tome las orillas donde estaban los flecos.

Once this is done, it only remains to place the pockets in their new position and since when removing the length of the vest it lost the fringes that it originally had, to repair this without having to fray again, just take the piece that is left over when cutting the length and from it take the edges where the fringes were.

TRABAJO TERMINADO

Y así amigos quedo listo mi chaleco.
