Serpent of Eld is Perfect for Equal Opportunity Ruleset

Hi Splinterlands Fam,

I'm sharing the best matches I played everyday. Today I'm gonna share an equal opportunity Ruleset game where I used the advantage of Serpent of Eld's low health and destroy my rivals.

It was announced; legendary monsters are not allowed in the first ruleset. I was not happy about that, because I have rented some nice legendaries for my gameplay. Neverthless that means my rival not gonna use them too. We were staring at each other and waiting if there was another ruleset. And a loud and strong voice echoed around the arena that saying the extra ruleset is Equal Opportunity.

We started thinking about our strategies, he was grinning somehow; I guess he has a solid plan to beat me. On the other hand I was thinking something I wasn't sure about before. It will be a gamble but if I'm not wrong about that it should make me win the match.

We first called our summoners: I chose Kelya Frendul, my strong Level 2 Water summoner. He chose Selenia Sky Level 3. That means his deck will mostly composed of archers. At this point I didn't care about what team to face cause I had a good idea.

Our summoners gathered the deck we choose. His deck was gloriusly took their positions. On paper, this seems to be an utter defeat of my team. But I was counting on something so odd that would make me the glorious winner at the end of the match.

So we started fighting. Battle Link

At first my furious chicken got a hit and died, it was obvious. Poor chicken always took a hit for the team. It was first the Naga Assassin and then Fire Spitter attacked it, and their 4 ranged attacked gone waste. Now it was Sethtropods turn to take some fire! The fight was going like that attacking Eld and Sethropod but my rival realised that most attacks are missing my monsters. There was no scratch on my Eld. My plan is working like magic.

Now it's Round 2 and Sethropod taking fire and enduring it. Meanwhile Deeplurker killed Celestial Harpy and Chaos Knight couldn't touch my Eld. But Eld is slowly killing it! That's the power of Eld on Kelya team: high speed + Evasion!

Round 3: it's actually very boring to watch 😁 Eld is shining and people try to kill that Sethtropod and meanwhile Deeplurker makes its way through the backside! Naga Assassin gone, 2 ranged attack gone! But you should have seen the strategy now. The rest of the team will attack Eld because Deeplurker has more health than Eld 😎 Still nobody can touch Eld yet!

Round 4: Fire Spitter made the first dent on Eld, good boy 😂 But it doesn't seem good for the rival I must say! And another from the Unicorn! I might be at the end of my luck!

Round 5: I guessed correctly; Eld took another shot and died after reducing Unicorn to 3 health. But that was the moment when Deeplurker attacked the Unicorn and killed it. And guess what, a ranger in the frontline 🤡 That game is won by my team!

I was exhausted and let myself fall to the ground, started thinking how did I won that game. My rival was pissed, he was so sure that he won but it didn't work out that way. I can say that was also a little bit chance, too many evasions. But fortune favors the brave, isn't it!

And a note, I could have selected something other then Deeplurker; that's my stupidity 🤣
