How to convince an Insecure Alric into fighting!

Hello Splinterlands Fam,

Here's another battle, and another story!

"I'm very old, I want to retire!" said the old wizard Alric. He was behaving when I tried to select him lately. One day he just didn't show-up for an entire tournament and when I asked him why he wasn't there he said: "I had a spa treatment I had to attend to, my old bones needs that. I can't be entartainment to those foolish new CL fellas!"

I really needed him in this match, just when I wanted to use my Djinn Oshannus and I couldn't convince Alric! So I asked Oshannus, Nerissa, Chaos Magi to sing a song for him. A song that would cheer him up and tell him why he's so important for the team. I told Disintegrator to make some music using his exhust pipe. Sea Monster and Serpent of Eld was dancing on the surface of the sea as background amusement. And I grabbed my guitar started playing:

Ohh great Alric, please honor us with your presence
We can't do anything without you and people really love you
Your white beard really looks so cool
And your blue robe makes our hearts feel so still
Bless us with your magic staff and enhance our magic attacks
We will always be grateful for what you have done for us

He just came out of the card pouch with a very wide smile on his face, started crying and saying :"OMG, do you really love me more than that Obsidian, the magician everybody chooses over me!" I said:"Dude, she's from Anumün and she asks for 4 mana, of course I'll choose you over anyone in these realms."

He seemed like grow at least 10 inches when he changed his posture. He started to combine his magic energy and ordered the troops:"Attack my fellow soldiers, attack with all you've got! I'm the best magician around and nobody could dare face me!"

My team with a confident Alric smashed my rival's team. And we have tasted the glory of the winning again, thanks to some average poetry!
