Qué bonito se siente culminar un proyecto que desde hace rato tenías pendiente.

Hoy les vengo a mostrar estas lindas sandalias de estilo romanas o gladiadoras tejidas en la técnica de crochet. Hoy me da pena decir que esta suela de sandalias tenia más de 3 años hecha esperando para ser finalizadas y por una razón u otra no había tenido ese empujón que te despierta y te anima hacer las cosas.

Hoy por fin pudo verlas concluidas y estoy feliz por eso. Al principio cuando las vi pensé que era un proyecto complicado, pero que mal juzgamos las cosas; hay un dicho muy sabio que dice que las apariencias engañan y que certeza tan grande hay en estas palabras, en verdad es la cosa más sencilla del mundo y si lo hubiese sabido hace rato que las hubiese terminado.

At first when I saw them I thought it was a complicated project, but how wrong we misjudge things; there is a very wise saying that says that appearances are deceiving and what a great certainty there is in these words, it really is the simplest thing in the world and if I had known that I would have finished them a long time ago.

Esto mismo me pasaba con otra técnica como el amigurumi, veía las cosas tan lindas que hacían mis amigas y pensaba dentro de mi ¡Qué bonito! ¡Cómo me gustaría hacerlo! Pero luego venían las otras frases ¡Eso es muy difícil para mí!

Muchas veces y esto mismo nos pasa en la vida en general somos nosotros mismos los que nos saboteamos la vida y esto nos frustra demasiado; si supiéramos y entendiéramos que la vida es más sencilla de lo que parece y que fácil sería poder vivir en este mundo tan bonito que Dios creo para nosotros.

Hace unos días fui a la misa y el padre dijo una frase que me gustó mucho “la felicidad nos da facilidad” si eres feliz, si dejas que tu cuerpo este relajado, se sienta libre y cómodo en lo que le gusta hacer pues todo fluirá de manera sencilla. Ahora que entiendo todo esto me doy cuenta que no hay proyecto grande, que yo soy capaz de hacer cosas maravillosas y por eso me quiero proponer proyectos grandes y hermosos. De seguro pronto estaré publicando por aquí una gran sorpresa.

A few days ago I went to mass and the priest said a phrase that I liked very much "happiness gives us ease" if you are happy, if you let your body be relaxed, feel free and comfortable in what you like to do, everything will flow in a simple way. Now that I understand all this I realize that there is no big project, that I am capable of doing wonderful things and that is why I want to propose big and beautiful projects. Antes de despedirme me gustaría comentarles también que estas sandalias se vendieron de inmediato y a muy buen precio, el paso a paso lo puedes conseguir en YouTube y el material que utilicé es hilo de la marca pescadora con una aguja número 2,5 milímetros. Las puedes hacer tan altas como quieras, yo las hice así porque la medida que tejí es para una bebé de 1 a 3 meses. Otro punto importante es que es para que esta sandalia tenga buena forma hay que tejer dos suelas que luego se unen y se cosen. Es decir que hay que tejer 4 suelas para luego formar el par.
