Regies Galeries: The famous store visited by Michael Jackson [ENG/ESP]

Hello to everyone in the Worldmappin community! Today I am joining the community again to share with you my visit to the famous and prestigious art store, Regies Galeries. This store is known for being one of the places where you can buy very valuable and expensive items. The reason why I wanted to visit the store during my visit to Las Vegas is because Michael Jackson was one of its most recurrent buyers. I like the singer so I found it interesting to know this space. The visit of the King of Pop to this place can be verified thanks to the documentary "Living with Michael Jackson", where he is seen spending a lot of money on random art items.

El día de hoy me uno de nuevo a la comunidad para compartir con ustedes mí visita a la famosa y prestigiosa tienda de artículos de artes, Regies Galeries. Ubicada en Las Vegas, Boulevard. Esta tienda es conocida por ser uno de los lugares donde adquirir artículos de gran valor y de gran costo. El motivo por el cual quise acercarme a la tienda durante mí visita a Las Vegas es porque Michael Jackson era uno de sus más recurrentes compradores. A mí me gusta el cantante por lo que me pareció interesante conocer este espacio. La visita del Rey del Pop a este lugar se puede comprobar gracias al documental "Living with Michael Jackson", en dónde se le ve gastando una gran cantidad de dinero en artículos de arte al azar.
In fact, it is even more interesting to know that the store itself understands the value of having a singer like him visit the place and they show it by constantly broadcasting videos of the scene of the documentary where Michael's millionaire purchase was recorded. Well, I can also say that this documentary generated a lot of problems for the singer; it got many people to brand him as a spendthrift and not very conscious of his "superficial and frivolous" investments. Now, I can say that the space, although small, is extremely crowded with a large number of items on display. The value of any one item, exceeded an amount of money that would make it impossible for the average person to purchase any of them. Which leads me to the following observation.
De hecho, es aún más interesante saber que la propia tienda entiende el valor que tiene el hecho de que un cantante cómo él haya visitado el lugar y lo demuestran al transmitir constantemente videos de la escena del documental dónde se registró la compra millonaria de Michael. Bueno, también puedo decir que ese documental generó bastantes problemas para el cantante; logró que muchas personas lo tildaran de derrochador y poco consciente de sus inversiones "superficiales y frívolas". Ahora, puedo decir que el espacio, aunque pequeño está sumamente repleto de una gran cantidad de artículos que allí se exhiben. El valor de cualquier artículo, excedía a una cantidad de dinero que haría imposible que una persona común pudiera adquirir cualquiera de ellos. Lo que me lleva a la siguiente observación.
Although I like the singer and the store, as I find many of the items beautiful despite their cost (as I understand that I am not the target audience for these pieces of art), I must say that I find the prices of these items a bit disturbing. As I pointed out above, I know I am not the intended audience for these items however, I wanted to make that point. Perhaps I would need to understand some of this that I'm probably missing (the context of the store, the buyers/sales and usefulness of it all), but I guess I'll leave that to each person's reflection. Ultimately the world is very big and what makes a bit of sense to me, to others will make sense. I wanted to know the place and so I did. A pesar de que me gusta el cantante y la tienda, pues me parece una belleza muchos de los artículos a pesar de sus costos (pues entiendo que no soy el público para quién va dirigido estas piezas de arte), debo decir que me parece un poco inquietante los precios de esos artículos. Cómo señale arriba, sé que no soy el público destinado a estos artículos sin embargo, deseaba dar ese punto. Quizás me haría falta comprender/entender algo de esto que seguramente me estoy perdiendo (el contexto de la tienda, los compradores/ventas y utilidad de todo ello), pero creo que lo dejaré a reflexión de cada persona. Finalmente el mundo es muy grande y lo que para mí carece un poco de sentido, para otros sí será lógico. Yo quise conocer el lugar y así lo hice. Hola @carminasalazarte, la galeriase ve muy lujosa y con artículos para gustos exclusivos, que por cierto son herrmosos y llenos de brillo, las fotos están espectaculares y coloridas.

Saludos 😁 así es, un lugar donde encontrar cualquier tipo de objeto ostentoso. A mí me dejó un poco impactada porque todo parecía pertenecer a un coleccionista de arte con un gusto particular y un gran bolsillo jaja gracias por pasar por aquí y tus saludos.
