Hello to everyone in the Top Family community! Today I want to share with you in this TBT Thursday, an image and a story from about two years ago. This time it is a picture that I managed to take with the well-known and beloved Japanese, Keito Homma. He has become loved by many Venezuelans to publicize our culture through his YouTube channel: Keito Homma. He has gained many followers with his multiple videos where he shows his trips to different states of the country and the pleasant interest he has to understand, know and learn about Venezuela.
Keito Homma, began his life as a traveler in 2001, because he was a physiotherapist and worked for several baseball teams internationally. Among them, Venezuelan baseball teams and it is there where he acquired a taste for Venezuelan culture and decided to settle down after some time. So it is admirable how he enjoys every corner of our country, always showing an optimistic and cheerful attitude, even when he does not always manage to have good experiences because he is a foreigner (and you know what kind of things can happen). However, he has adapted and has not left aside the reasons why he wants to be here: he likes the country and he always shows it.
On that occasion we met during an event dedicated to the culture of Japan called "Japan Cultural Week". He went there as a special guest and I was able to take a picture. He respectfully agreed and I managed to record that moment. I am not one to follow many public figures (so to speak), but he is quite nice. It is also important to note that through his work he has documented the lives of other Japanese living here in Venezuela. Pointing out how our country has always had open arms towards foreigners. ¡Hola a todos en la comunidad de Top Family! Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes en este jueves de TBT, una imágen y una historia de hace unos dos años. En esta ocasión se trata de una fotografía que logré tomarme junto con el conocido y querido japonés, Keito Homma. Él se a hecho querer por muchos venezolanos al dar a conocer nuestra cultura a través de su canal de YouTube: Keito Homma. Lugar dónde se a ganado varios seguidores con sus múltiples videos donde enseña sus viajes realizados a diferentes estados del país y el grato interés que tiene por entender, conocer y aprender sobre Venezuela.
Keito Homma, emprendió su vida cómo viajero en el año 2001, debido a que era Fisioterapeuta y trabajaba para varios equipos de béisbol a nivel internacional. Entre ellos, equipos de béisbol de Venezuela y es allí dónde adquirió cierto gusto por la cultura venezolana y decidió establecerse luego de algún tiempo. Por lo que es admirable cómo él disfruta de cada rincón de nuestro país, mostrando siempre una actitud optimista y alegre, aún cuando no siempre logra tener buenas experiencias debido a que es extranjero (y sabes que tipo de cosas pueden suceder). Sin embargo, sea adaptado y no a dejado de lado las razones por las cuales desea estar aquí: le gusta el país y lo demuestra siempre.
En esa oportunidad donde coincidimos fue durante un evento dedicado a la cultura de Japón llamado "Semana Cultural del Japón". Allí acudió cómo invitado especial y pude tomarme una foto. Con mucho respeto accedió y logré registrar ese momento. No soy de seguir muchas figuras públicas (por así decirlo), pero él es bastante agradable. También es importante señalar que a través de su labor a documentado la vida de otros japoneses que residen aquí en Venezuela. Señalando cómo nuestro país siempre tuvo los brazos abiertos hacia los extranjeros. De allí su receptividad. Finalmente, su canal es bastante interesante y pueden darle un vistazo para que lo conozcan. Sin más que decir, muchísimas gracias por pasar por aquí. Un abrazo.
