Hello everyone! Today I bring you a new cover made, as always, with love. This is Billy Joel's song, titled Uptown Girl. A classic song from the 80's.

This song always made me laugh, because in the original video Billy plays a mechanic who likes a very beautiful city girl. He is accompanied by some other workers and to the rhythm of the song they dance around the shop. Very nice dance steps and a beautiful chorus. Finally our Billy gets the beautiful woman, overcoming the division between lower class man and upper class woman. That's more or less what we are given to understand.

Billy Joel is a great artist with songs that are now classics and that we can appreciate in moments like these. Here is my tribute to him. ¡Hola a todos! El día de hoy les traigo un nuevo cover hecho, como siempre, con mucho cariño. Se trata pues de la canción de Billy Joel, titulada Uptown Girl. Un tema clásico de los años 80's.

Está canción siempre me hizo gracia, pues en el vídeo original Billy interpreta a un mecánico quién gusta de una chica de ciudad muy hermosa. Él está acompañado de algunos trabajadores más y al ritmo de la canción danzan por todo el taller. Unos pasos de baile muy buenos y un coro precioso. Finalmente nuestro Billy se queda con la preciosa mujer, superando la división entre hombre de clase baja y mujer de clase alta. Más o menos eso es lo que nos dan a entender.

Billy Joel es un gran artista con temas que ahora son un clásico y que podemos apreciar en momentos como estos. He aquí mi tributo hacía él. He estado un poco nerviosa jejeje sin embargo, igual espero que lo aprecien y una vez más, muchas gracias por pasar por acá, leer, comentar, votar, etc. Les envío un fuerte abrazo a todos y ¡Hasta la próxima!

Como siempre tu interpretación es muy buena. Escucho un retraso muy chiquitito en la voz, hay que poner mucha atención para escucharlo pero de resto se escucha bien

Fascinating!.... Bravo! I don't know much about music and singing, so I couldn't comment on it technically... But I can assure you that I "traveled straight back to my adolescence with this excellent interpretation of that BJ song!!!!!... I even think I grew some hair, because in the 80's I used to wear it long (I don't have it anymore) ha ha ha ... ;) and hummed Uptown Girl in the streets!!!.... Bravo!... Fascinante!.... Bravo!... Yo no sé mucho de música y canto, así que no podría comentar técnicamente al respecto... Pero puedo asegurar que "viaje directo a mi adolescencia con esta interpretación excelente de esa canción de BJ!!!!!... ¡Hasta creo que me creció un poco de cabello, porque en los 80's lo usaba largo (ya no tengo) ha ha ha ... ;) y tarareaba Uptown Girl por las calles!!!....
