After the Storm
Hello to everyone in the community! Today I bring you some pictures about the landscape in the place where I live, Valencia, Venezuela. Specifically in the municipality of Naguanagua where we usually have almost always a very pleasant climate, fresh and full of vegetation thanks to the hills that surround us. Here are some images of today's morning after some stormy days that we have had due to the tropical waves that have been in the country since last September.
As you can see, the clear sky, blue and with some small clouds that seem to be painted by someone (small brushstrokes) generate a certain calm and joy for me and for many who have been looking forward to sunnier days. There are also other images like the ones overlooking the hill and the tree closest to my home that are full of color and life. It is a reason to celebrate.
¡Hola a todos en la comunidad! El día de hoy les traigo algunas fotografías varias sobre el paisaje en el lugar en el que vivo, Valencia, Venezuela. Específicamente en el municipio de Naguanagua dónde solemos tener casi siempre un clima muy agradable, fresco y lleno de vegetación gracias a los cerros que nos rodean. He aquí algunas imágenes de lo que fue la mañana de hoy luego de algunos días llenos de tormenta que hemos tenido por las ondas tropicales que han estado en el país desde el pasado mes de Septiembre.
Como pueden ver, el cielo despejado, azul y con unas pequeñas nubes que parecen estar pintadas por alguien (pequeñas pinceladas) generan una cierta calma y alegría para mi y para muchos que hemos esperado con ansias que hayan días más soleados. También hay otras imágenes como las que dan al cerro y el árbol más cercano a mi hogar que están llenos de color y vida. Es un motivo para celebrar.
However, I must say that although I can enjoy this scenery today, things have been very different in some parts of my country. In Maracay, Carabobo, Zulia, island areas, Apure and others, have been affected by the rains leaving many, many people homeless due to the detour of river channels that have taken with them everything in their path (houses, cars, people). In addition to the landslides on highways and other accidents typical of these storms that have us in expectation.
Some more storms are coming for the month of November and the truth is that we only hope that there will be a better management in our country to solve situations as serious as these. Therefore, we can only hope that, after these heavy rains, we will be able to enjoy clear and more pleasant days again. If you are in the country, take the necessary precautions and get information about the estimated rainy days. Sin embargo, debo decir que aunque yo puedo disfrutar hoy mismo de este escenario, las cosas han sido muy diferentes en algunas partes de mi país. En Maracay, Carabobo, Zulia, zonas insulares, Apure y otras más, se han visto afectadas por las lluvias dejando a muchísimas personas sin hogar debido a la desviación de los canales de los ríos que se han llevado consigo todo a su paso (casas, carros, personas). Además de los derrumbes en carreteras y demás accidentes propios de estás tormentas que nos tienen a la expectativa.
Se avecinan para el mes de noviembre algunas tormentas más y la verdad, es que solo se espera que haya una mejor gestión en nuestro país para resolver situaciones tan graves como estás. Por lo cual, solo queda esperar para que, pasadas estás fuertes lluvias, podamos disfrutar de nuevo de días despejados y más amenos. Si están en el país, tomar las debidas precauciones e informarse sobre los días estimados de lluvia. No me queda más que decir sino muchas gracias por pasar por aquí y apoyar mi trabajo.
