Hello to everyone in the Hive Pets community! Surely many of you animal lovers know that for our beloved pets there are never enough things to pamper them and above all to take care of them and maintain a proper quality of life. That is why I will dedicate this post to recommend some of the things that we must have at home if we have pets. Let's start with it.

¡Hola a todos en la comunidad de Hive Pets! Seguramente muchos de ustedes, amantes de los animales, sabrán que para nuestras queridas mascotas nunca hay suficientes cosas para consentirlos y sobre todos para cuidarlos y mantener una calidad de vida adecuada. Por lo cual dedicaré está publicación para recomendar algunas de las cosas que sí o sí debemos tener en casa si tenemos mascotas. Comencemos con ello.

If your dog has long fur, the ideal is to have a carder type, like the one you see in the picture (the red brush), it untangles terrible knots and is a quick way to get rid of a lot of hair. It can also be used for cats, but be very careful, because if it is done with abruptness it can hurt the animal. The comb is used for combing, especially if we want to keep the hairstyle obtained in a hairdresser's shop. If the dog has a short coat, a pumice stone rubbed on the body will be enough. There are also gloves with bristles that are very useful.

Cepillos, peines y piedra pome: ya sea si tienes un perro con pelaje largo o no, nunca está demás tener herramientas para manejar su pelo. Si tú perro tiene pelaje largo lo ideal es que tengas uno tipo carda, como el que ven la fotografia (el cepillo rojo), desenreda nudos terribles y es una rápida forma de deshacernos de una gran cantidad de pelo. También sirve para gatos, eso sí, con mucho cuidado ya que si se hace con brusquedad puede herir al animal. El peine sirve para peinar sobre todo si queremos conservar el peinado que han obtenido en una peluquería. Si el perro es de pelaje corto, una piedra pome que se frote sobre el cuerpo bastará. También existen los guantes con cerdas que sirven muy bien.

If we do not do it carefully we can hurt our pet and even leave it injured. Nowadays there are also boards with large files so that the animal can scratch and file its nails in the process. And with respect to cats, they also need it, maybe you can opt for a scratching post to help them keep the size.

Cortaúñas: mantener el largo adecuado de las uñas de nuestros perros es vital para que estos no sufran al caminar y que a largo plazo sufran por la postura incómoda que mantienen al caminar con uñas largas. Por lo cual, un buen cortaúñas puede ser nuestra salvación. Ahora no solo basta con tener la herramienta sino saber usarla por lo que es importante que te informes o asistas con un especialista para que te enseñe sobre la forma correcta de hacerlo. De no hacerlo con cuidado podemos herir a nuestra mascota e incluso dejarla lesionada. También existen hoy en días tablas con limas grandes para que el mismo animal pueda rascar y limar sus uñas en el proceso. Y con respecto a los gatos, ellos también lo necesitan, quizás puedas optar por un rascador que lo ayude a mantener el tamaño.

Kennel or transport box: whether for visits to the veterinarian for our pet, an emergency, moving or any other situation that requires moving our pet safely, Kennels are necessary in our home. The way to choose it will depend on the size and type of pet, since the material, weight and size of the Kennel varies. For example, the one you see in the image is a Kennel for a small and light pet. For obvious reasons, the ideal is to choose the most convenient for our pet and if possible one or two, depending on the pet.

Kennel o Caja de transporte: ya sea para visitas al veterinario de nuestra mascota, una emergencia, mudanza o cualquier otra situación que requiera trasladar de forma segura a nuestra mascota, los Kennel son necesarios en nuestra casa. La forma de elegirlo dependerá del tamaño y del tipo de mascota, ya que el material, el peso y el tamaño del Kennel varía. Por ejemplo el que ven en la imagen es un Kennel para una mascota pequeña y liviana. Por obvias razones, lo ideal es elegir el más conveniente para nuestra mascota y de ser posible uno o dos, dependiendo del animalito.

We also avoid unnecessary fights for territory, remembering that they take this into account when selecting a place that is theirs.

Camas: en otra oportunidad hablé sobre lo importante que es tener camitas para nuestras mascotas. Aunque nuestras mascotas prefieran dormir con nosotros. Que cada mascota tenga un lugar seguro, propio y cómodo es necesario. También evitamos luchas innecesarias por el territorio, recordando que ellos toman esto en cuenta cuando seleccionan un lugar que es suyo.

Ohhh, this is so much helpful for our pets and they surely love it too except i think on nail clippers. They hate that one so much or more like too afraid.

Totalmente indispensables estos elementos, el que suele ser un dolor de cabeza es la transportadora, porque se recomienda que sea al menos entre 15 y 20 cm más alto y más ancho que la mascota. Entre más grande, se vuelve más incómoda de manipular :(
