UNA IGUANA EN MI CAMINO / AN IGUANA ON MY WAY

Iba apurada a realizar algunas compras cuando vi una iguana cruzar la calle más apurada que yo, buscando, imagino, algún árbol y encontrando en lugar de eso cemento por todas partes. Interiormente rogué que lograra alcanzar su cometido de encontrar un árbol antes que ser encontrada ella por alguna de esas personas que deambulan por allí haciendo daño a los animales. Quedé satisfecha porque logró subirse al árbol deseado.
No estoy muy diestra en el manejo de mi nuevo celular y me enredo un poco para tomar las fotos,la primera que saqué fue esta:

I was in a hurry to do some shopping when I saw an iguana crossing the street in a hurry than me, looking for, I imagine, some tree and instead finding cement everywhere. Inwardly I prayed that it would achieve its mission of finding a tree before it was found by one of those people who roam there hurting animals. I was satisfied because it managed to climb the desired tree.
I am not very skilled in handling my new cell phone and I get a bit confused to take the photos, the first one I took was this:

Je, je, je, como pueden ver la iguana salió...fuera de la foto, pero , bueno, vamos aprendiendo poco a poco y teniéndonos paciencia unos con otros.

Cuando se mezcla lo urbano con lo rural son los animalitos los que sufren, ojalá aprendamos a convivir con ellos sin causarles daño.

Heh, heh, heh, as you can see the iguana came out ... out of the photo, but, well, we are learning little by little and having patience with each other.

When the urban is mixed with the rural, it is the animals who suffer, hopefully we learn to live with them without causing them harm.
