My Pepper plant

Green And Beige Gardening Instagram Post (1).jpg

Hello, I hope everyone is well, this is the first time I upload content in this community, I am still new to the platform, and from time to time I start looking for posts from other hivers to read them and learn a little more every day, that's how I found this wonderful community, so I wanted to share with you something that has made me feel proud, and that is that I am growing and taking care of a small pepper plant, so I want to show you its evolution so far.

Normally when I sow plants or seeds, I don't have good results, they say that growing and harvesting is a gift that not everyone has, so I sowed the pepper seeds without much hope, however as time went by I witnessed the plant grow, I still didn't want to take pictures or get too excited because I wasn't sure if the plant would die or move on, but after a few more days I noticed something wonderful, something was sprouting from the plant, they were little white flowers and inside the flowers, little by little, little green bumps were emerging, what seemed to be my beloved little peppers.

And over the days I have seen that more little peppers have been sprouting, it is wonderful to see the result of my care, I have done a lot of research about pepper plants, how much water I should put, all that, and I am also using organic fertilizers, just the waste from my kitchen (leftover skins of vegetables).

This morning I went to look at it to put some water on it and I noticed that a couple of peppers have grown quite a lot, but one of them had a little brown spot, which I was investigating and I realised is because of the sun, so I shouldn't let the plant get too much sun (I live in a tropical country so we have summer all year round).

The other shoots fell off, there are only two peppers left growing on the plant, but so far they look strong and healthy, despite the brown spot, which has been getting smaller and smaller.

The cat likes to accompany me when I am taking care of the garden, he is very curious. But anyway, I am very proud of the evolution that my first pepper plant has had, I am also growing other things that I think will have a good harvest, but I will wait a while to see how everything turns out, and if it goes well then I will share it with you.

That's all for today but I hope to return soon to show you the harvest (I hope the peppers grow bigger and become even more beautiful) and I also hope that other sprouts emerge. Thank you very much for reading my first post in this community, I send you blessings and wish you success.

It is not easy to sow and harvest, but I think everyone can do it, with or without previous knowledge I think you can get a good result and a good harvest, good that you had it 😊
