Energy education: Is there any way to placate the carbon dioxide released by industries?

As many know, there are several greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, however carbon dioxide is one of those that generates a strong impact on climate change, due to this and other factors it is appropriate that science and technology can innovate and create an alternative solution to help mitigate the carbon dioxide generated by industries and even generated by the different forms of generation by burning fossil fuels.

Besides being able to mitigate the negative effects of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere can soon be harnessed for the generation of new energy sources.

The proposal that may arise is around the idea of generating a compound that can collect carbon dioxide from the mouth of the chimneys of industries and that can be used as a by-product or any other utility that can be obtained.

The compound that is being studied by researchers at Oregon State University consists of a metal-organic compound that must be linked with other chemical compounds, the idea is that this compound can catalyze carbon and that the carbon dioxide that is released from the Earth's atmosphere can be purified.

With this innovative idea I think that perhaps the principle of application is in industries that use as a source of energy the burning of fossil fuels, which is why the compound would be placed at the mouths of the chimney, however I believe that if the research gives good results can be expanded to purify the atmosphere of carbon dioxide that is released from other human activities such as combustion generated by cars worldwide.

Certainly, science and technology supported by the diversification of chemistry can offer us many benefits in the face of such serious problems as global warming and climate change, just the thought of being able to mitigate a part of the concentration of carbon dioxide is very encouraging news.
