MUESTRAS DEL MUSEO MARINO DE MARGARITA. CONÓCELO CONMIGO. [Esp-Eng]

Best regards, friends of Hive. Today with my publication I want to show you one of the most visited tourist places on my island of Margarita, the Marine Museum, which is located in the Macanao Peninsula Municipality, in the town of Boca de Río.
Both showcases show fossils of some species of birds and mollusks.
This museum was inaugurated in 1994. Due to the crisis, some contact areas have stopped functioning. Since its inauguration, the entities involved have made a great effort to maintain the facilities.
Interesting pictures of nature
There is an exhibition room of artisanal fishing utensils
I must mention that, despite the economic problems, the rest of the areas, mainly those with fossils, are still very well preserved.
A model of the ruins of the island of Cubagua, which sank more than a century ago.
There are few animals in the contact area, but it is clear that they are trying to expand the space and incorporate more species.
There is a room full of fossil display cases
This place continues to be an attraction for local and foreign tourists. I have had the opportunity to visit it several times, but on this occasion the visit was organized by the management team of the school where I currently work.
So I went as a teacher, accompanying and taking care of the children during the tour so that they could enjoy it and take advantage of getting to know the wonders of the sea as much as possible.
A preserved squid
She is a margarita's parrot, in danger of extinction. Her name is Milagros, because her nest was attacked by a snake and she survived.
I say goodbye until a next publication. The photos were taken with my Infinix Hot 30 Play mobile device.
The children were totally amazed and delighted by the number of species displayed in the halls and rooms of the museum. For obvious reasons I can't show you the photos with the children. I hope you also enjoy some photos I was able to take.If you come to Margarita visit the Marine Museum, in the meantime I hope you enjoyed the photos.
