I Am Alive Challenge 10.08.22 - Nature dinner

Hi friends, it was unbearably hot last week, and it seemed like it couldn't get any worse. However, the weather decided to continue to test the heat and it got even worse this week. If before it was +33'C in the daytime, but wind saved it, now it's +32'C from 8 am and by noon it reaches 40....

Productivity in this state drops rapidly and several times a day to go to a cold shower is becoming normal. Last night the weather took pity on us with some clouds and a light breeze, so my friends and I decided to have dinner out of town, in our favorite oak grove.

This time I took some pork and chicken sausages, which I grilled with vanilla bbq sauce (a very unusual combination of smokiness, sweetness and the bright flavor of almonds), and continued to experiment with simple sandwiches - I grilled bread with melted milk cheese.

Of course I didn't do without spicy special effects and just the other day I received a parcel with a bottle of Peach Holocaust sauce from my Moscow friend RTHDX, who in addition to music and running a black metal label makes extremely spicy stuff. Jay's Peach Ghost Scorpion mashed peach and pepper sauce impresses with its powerful flavor and aroma, and the searing spice, thanks to natural unfermented peppers, comes in waves and leaves a lingering aftertaste with hints of peach sweetness.

I love this kind of thing and hope to make something with it next time I cook turkey. Should be pretty darned delicious.

When it got dark, we went back home and picked up an interesting beer to try at one of the stores - Zhiguli 1968. Pretty tasty, soft, enjoyable and drinkable lager, brewed with special fermentation technology, and the date in the name is the year the brand "Zhiguli" appeared.

The beer is very similar to the popular Corona Extra, but it costs exactly half the price, so I will definitely take it in the future for hot days and get-togethers with friends.

The rest of the evening, when the guests had dispersed, I devoted the rest of the evening to Splinterlands, got into the second Gold League and played 3 chests in the daily focus.
