"Entre la lluvia y la música" [Esp-Eng]

En medio de un día lluvioso y nublado, la intensidad varía y el clima se hace más agradable, una combinación perfecta que alimenta un corazón con el deseo de reflexionar. "Cuando nadie me ve" de Alejandro Sanz sencillamente es un temazo que por momentos te hace perder en la profundidad de su letra. Por un instante crees entender la canción, y luego te pierdes en la idea de saber si hay algo en ella con la cual puedes sentirte identificado. En mi interpretación, trato de enfocarme más en lo que esta canción me hace sentir, y a veces creo que es como una especie de súplica para entender nuestras decisiones en el tema del amor.

Siempre me han gustado estas canciones que, más allá de buscar ajustarse a una buena melodía, transmiten un mensaje que a veces hasta suele ser difícil de comprender, llevandote a escuchar una y otra y otra vez la canción. En ocasiones te encuentras con una frase que te llena de admiración y asombro, y entonces pasa a ser como una especie de espejo en el cual te sientes reflejado. No hay desperdicio de principio a fin, y en la quietud de una mente que solo escucha la lluvia caer, te entregas de manera completa a la esencia de lo que la música llega a generar en tí, más amor y deseo por esa canción que mientras más escuchas, más se hace parte de tí.

In the middle of a rainy and cloudy day, the intensity varies and the weather becomes more pleasant, a perfect combination that feeds a heart with the desire to reflect. Alejandro Sanz's "Cuando nadie me ve" is simply a great song that at times makes you lose yourself in the depth of its lyrics. For a moment you think you understand the song, and then you get lost in the idea of knowing if there is something in it with which you can identify. In my interpretation, I try to focus more on what this song makes me feel, and sometimes I think it's like a kind of plea to understand our decisions when it comes to love.

I have always liked these songs that, beyond trying to fit a good melody, convey a message that sometimes is even difficult to understand, leading you to listen to the song again and again and again. Sometimes you come across a phrase that fills you with admiration and amazement, and then it becomes a kind of mirror in which you feel reflected. There is no waste from beginning to end, and in the stillness of a mind that only listens to the rain falling, you give yourself completely to the essence of what the music comes to generate in you, more love and desire for that song that the more you listen, the more it becomes part of you.

¿Café? ¿Chocolate caliente? Cualquiera de los dos sería un compañero ideal para degustar de la música, y más cuando se trata de los hermosos recuerdos sobre alguien que,sencillamente ya no está. Pueden ser varios o solo uno, pero en el mayor de los casos estos momentos se prestan para pensar en alguien especial que aún late con mucha vida en un espacio muy especial del corazón. Quizás por un tiempo era un período de tristeza, pero hoy es más que una nostalgia que se aferra a la esperanza de que algún día volverán.

"Volverás, volveré" del grupo "Los Carabineros" es una perla sacada del baúl de mis más bonitos recuerdos. Tan solo siendo un niño ya sentía admiración por ese tema, y con el tiempo se convirtió en algo más especial. En ciertas tardes mi familia se juntaba en casa de mi abuela, y con la radio encendida había un programa de música romántica. Esta canción la solicitaban mucho, y es de esos temas que te atraen de manera muy sutil. Hoy, muchos de esos familiares que se reunían ya no están, pero el tiempo me ha dejado anclado la melodía de este tema musical que hace honor a dichos tiempos que compartimos juntos.

Coffee? Hot chocolate? Either would be an ideal companion to enjoy the music, especially when it comes to the beautiful memories of someone who is simply gone. There may be several or just one, but in most cases these moments lend themselves to thinking about someone special who still beats with a lot of life in a very special space in the heart. Perhaps for a while it was a period of sadness, but today it is more than nostalgia that clings to the hope that someday they will return.

"Volverás, volveré" by the group "Los Carabineros" is a pearl taken from the trunk of my most beautiful memories. Just as a child I already felt admiration for this song, and with time it became something more special. On certain afternoons my family would gather at my grandmother's house, and with the radio on there would be a program of romantic music. This song was requested a lot, and it is one of those songs that attracts you in a very subtle way. Today, many of those family members who used to get together are no longer there, but time has left me anchored to the melody of this musical theme that honors those times we shared together.

Para muchos, la idea de caminar bajo la lluvia es un acto que transmite amor, ternura y mucho sentimiento. Si es así, ¿Qué tema musical pondrías de fondo mientras disfrutas de dicha experiencia? Sería como firmar un pacto de amor ante un cielo que llora de alegría. Es un acto que puede ser tan único y significativo cuando hay esa conexión entre dos almas que parecen afirmar que no existe lugar ni tormenta alguna que los pueda separar. Un contacto a pleno que desde ese mismo instante hará de tus días lluvioso un hermoso recordatorio cargado de ilusión y alegría.

"Amores de provincia" de Félix Valentino, sería para mí esa canción que de fondo me acompañaría para dar vida a un escenario que vive hoy en mi mente, pero deseo algun día hacer realidad para atesorar en mi corazón. Perderme entre la lluvia y la mirada de esa hermosa dama que en su sonrisa aprueba la pasión y la valentía de un corazón que solo quiere vivir y latir por ella. Es así como la tertulia entre la lluvia y la música, puede llevarnos a encontrar la historia más bonita de la cual jamás hayas podido escuchar, y por la que serías el protagonista de un sentimiento que nunca dejará de soñar.

For many, the idea of walking in the rain is an act that conveys love, tenderness and a lot of feeling. If so, what music would you play in the background while enjoying such an experience? It would be like signing a pact of love before a sky crying with joy. It is an act that can be so unique and meaningful when there is that connection between two souls that seem to affirm that there is no place or storm that can separate them. "Amores de provincia" by Felix Valentino, would be for me that song that would accompany me in the background to give life to a scenario that lives today in my mind, but I wish someday to make reality to treasure in my heart. Losing myself in the rain and the gaze of that beautiful lady who in her smile approves the passion and courage of a heart that only wants to live and beat for her. This is how the conversation between rain and music, can lead us to find the most beautiful story of which you could ever hear, and for which you would be the protagonist of a feeling that will never stop dreaming.
