Why add HIVE to Hive Savings ?

I tried finding this out but there seems to be no post out there adressing this issuee... so here goes .. maybe we can discuss here and this will help other as well ..

Does anyone know if there is any benefit to adding hive to Hive savings ?
Is this a feature that will be implemented in the future ? (adding APY for HIVE in savings)
Does the APY work only for HBD ?
Is there no point to add HIVE to savings, yet ?
Are there any other ways to earn yield on your HIVE out there that you know of ? Besides staking in diesel pools and risking impermanent loss ?

I know there are more questions than answers,but maybe we can discuss here and inform each other..
