Burning a Little FOODIE ... just for the fun of it
The @buynburn account uses its HBD and HIVE Rewards to buy and periodically burn HIVE Engine Coins. My hope is that, an account that buys coins, might help improve liquidity on the platform.
The account will write posts about different tribes throughout the week to earn coins.
The account will focus on coins that appear to lack liquidity.
Please feel free to suggest coins to burn.
@sajannair suggested that I look at FOODIE.
Foodies Bee Hive has the domain FoodiesUnite.net. The members of the tribe share recipes and food reviews.
The tribe appears offers valuable focused content and appears to keep spam at bay.
There are currently 29 million FOODIE in circulation. The FOODIE Richlist shows the coin has a decent distribution. The trending page shows that well written food posts often receive several hundred for their effort.
Unfortunately, the tribe appears to be attracting more content creators than investors. The result is that the coin has low volume.
At the time of this review, the BID price was a third of the ASK price.
After I publish this post, I will burn 942 coins.
I wanted to burn an even thousand coins, but my order simply sits on the BID line with no takers.
This page details the burn history. With links to the proof of burn. I've burned over 200K coins to date.
I will burn the FOODIE after I publish the post. Some tribes mark a post as "promoted" when a user includes the posts URL when a user tranfers coins to @null.
As For the Picture
The picture shows my Rocket Stove by StoveTec.
The stove has an efficient design that allows users to burn biomass (aka small twigs and branches) with less smoke than traditional fires.
I tend to cook indoors during the Winter to keep the heat in the house.
I use the rocket stove during the summer. I burn the wood food in the yard. This reduces waste and saves energy.
The downside is that the stove coats the outside of the pan with soot. So, I used a dedicated Dutch Oven and a Wok for cooking outdoors.
I put the stove in a discarded grill that I found a few years back.
