Welcome to the evaluation of the twenty-fourth round of the photo contest for all Hive users

𝓐𝓻𝓸𝓾𝓷𝓭 𝓣𝓱𝓮 𝓦𝓸𝓻𝓵𝓭

Čeká nás šest soutěžních fotografií a tím pádem také šest pozvánek na virtuální výlet na tři kontinenty.
We are waiting for six competition photos and thus also six invitations to a virtual trip to three continents.
Dvě poznámky, než se vypravíme na výlet:
1) Všechny fotografie odkazují na původní články hodnocených autorů
2) Všichni autoři fotografií obdrží 5% z výdělku tohoto článku
Two notes before we head out on our trip:
1) All photos refer to the original articles of the evaluated authors
2) All photo authors will receive 5% of the earnings of this article

Tradiční zahájení výletu v Praze má trochu vzpomínkový podtext a také dává prostor ke ztišení a zamyšlení. Kde jinde by měl člověk zpomalit a zamyslet se, když ne na hřbitově. Jeden takový nám ukázal @krakonos. Tiché místo v Třebonicích s rostoucím městem na pozadí.
The traditional start of a trip in Prague has a bit of a commemorative undertone and also gives space for silence and reflection. Where else should one slow down and think if not in a cemetery. One such was shown to us by @krakonos. A quiet place in Třebonice with a growing city in the background.

Letošní teplý podzim přináší některá překvapení. Překvapen byl určitě @phortun, když nalezl na zahradě rodičů, nedaleko Kružberku ve Slezsku (asi 49°50‘ severní šířky), kudlanku. Zdá se, že globální oteplování způsobuje migraci některých tvorů z jihu na sever. Fotografie získala první cenu.
This year's warm autumn brings some surprises. @phortun was certainly surprised when he found a mantis in his parents' garden, near Kružberk in Silesia (about 49°50' north latitude). Global warming appears to be causing some creatures to migrate from the south to the north. The photo won first prize.

@godfish nás opět pozval na Kypr. Vyšplhal na horu Olympus aby tam, ke svému překvapení, našel malé lyžařské středisko. Na soutěžní fotografii, která získala druhou cenu, nám ale představil jednu ze stezek, která horu Olympus obkružuje.
@godfish invited us to Cyprus again. He climbed Mount Olympus to find, to his surprise, a small ski resort. In the competition photo, which won the second prize, he presented us with one of the trails that encircles Mount Olympus.

Z vrcholků Kypru se přesuneme do hor v severní části Thajska, kde na nás čeká @tommyl33. Tentokrát si pro soutěž vybral město Chiang Mai a část historických hradeb se vstupní branou.
From the peaks of Cyprus, we will move to the mountains in the northern part of Thailand, where @tommyl33 is waiting for us. This time he chose the city of Chiang Mai and part of the historic walls with the entrance gate for the competition.

Musím se přiznat, že jsem možná trochu zmátl porotu. K další zastávce nás pozval @new.things na bezejmennou pláž nedaleko Newcastle v Novém Jižním Walesu v Austrálii. Po dohodě s autorem fotografie, která získala speciální cenu a právo na účast v doplňkové soutěži o nejlepší fotografii měsíce října, jsme pláž fiktivně pojmenovali 'Pláž ATW' :-)
I have to admit that I may have confused the jury a bit. For our next stop, @new.things invited us to an unnamed beach near Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia. After an agreement with the author of the photo, which received a special prize and the right to participate in an additional competition for the best photo of the month of October, we fictitiously named the beach 'ATW Beach' :-)

Vracíme se do Evropy. @suzana72 nás pozvala na procházku městem Trebinje v Bosně a Hercegovině. Podzim je tu opravdu nádherný. Fotografie získala třetí cenu.
We are going back to Europe. @suzana72 invited us to walk through the city of Trebinje in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Autumn is really beautiful here. The photo won third prize.

Tak které místo se vám dnes líbilo nejvíce? Podle mého byla všechna místa něčím zajímavá a mnohdy s malým překvapením :-).
So which place did you like the most today? In my opinion, all places were somewhat interesting and often with a little surprise :-).

Už jsem viděl fotku kudlanky z Mikulova. To je ale jih Moravy. V podhůří Jeseníků bych ji opravdu nečekal :-)
