Week #215// Old Age and Financial Security/ @brujita18

Youth passes in the blink of an eye, suddenly you are turning 15 and when you do that, you are turning 30. More or less from that age I began to visualize that I was approaching the age of the “contemporary adults”, that age when you go out to have fun, but not so crazy or perhaps so often, because you already have other priorities in your life generally. But it is also the time when you notice some physical changes; maybe if you have a tendency to put on weight you realize that now it is more difficult to get rid of those extra kilos because your body is changing and becoming slower, they are sometimes imperceptible changes, but as the years go by you will notice them more and more?

Of course, these changes can be more present depending on your lifestyle, in the case of women, pregnancies, diet, rhythm of life and many others that influence your physical wear. For men, the type of work they do, the way they live their lives, including late nights, drinking, etc. So, depending on what it is, we notice that you are not as agile as you used to be or you get tired faster, you gain weight, wrinkles become more evident and everything that leads you to the stage of old age. For me this is something natural, I am not traumatized at all, therefore, I am not worried about getting older. As long as I do it with dignity, I live my process as calmly as possible, enjoying my days and doing what I like.

As for the financial issue, that's another thing; I think this is a question that young people should ask themselves since they start their productive life. My main concern was to have my own roof over my head, for me and my future children, a good job where I felt at ease and that covered my life expectations and these included a financial consolidation for my future old age, because around me I saw many cases of elderly people going through work, precisely because they had not financially foreseen this stage of their lives and therefore had to depend on others to live. This is seen a lot in my country and it is one of the things that I have had more present, especially these days.

Well, I am already reaching that age where the children have grown and are growing, as I have 3 children of different ages and I am aware that together with my husband we must finish working, to finish raising our children and continue building our financial security for those golden years. This is one of the topics that my husband and I talk about most frequently, because we know that old age and death is the most secure thing we have and that we should not leave that responsibility to our children, we are very clear about that.

This is my participation in Weekend-Engagement topics: WEEK 215, thank you, for such creative proposals @galenkp, cheers!!!

Greetings friend, I love your attitude to live each stage of life, adulthood brings with it a series of changes, I'm just at the point where reducing the extra kilos is a complicated process, I did not realize when they appeared heh, heh.

Happy weekend!

We don't realize it until we are already living it, but that is where we have to take action and awareness. greetings👻

This is a very good decision that I totally support. Children should be given a stepping stone to go higher than parents not parents being burdens for the children.

Early financial strategizing can save us in old age.
