YENİ BİR İŞ, YENİ BİR HEYECAN // A NEW JOB, A NEW EXCITEMENT

Bugün sizinle yeni heyecanımı paylaşmak istiyorum. Yeni heyecanımın sebebi yeni bir işimin olması. 2019'dan beri kronik olarak işsizdim. Kısa bir dönem markette çalıştım her mezun olan genç gibi, daha sonra marketten ayrılıp bir alışveriş merkezinin sağlık kabininde hemşire olarak çalıştım.

Today I would like to share my new excitement with you. The reason for my new excitement is that I have a new job. I have been chronically unemployed since 2019. I worked in the market for a short period of time, like every graduating teenager, I left the market and worked as a nurse in the health care booth of a shopping mall.

Gerçekten çok zorlayıcıydı bu dönem çünkü sabah saat 10:00'da mesaiye başlıyordum, akşam saat 22:00'da mesaim bitiyordu.

It was really challenging because I started working at 10:00 in the morning and ended at 22:00 in the evening.

Hatırlar mısınız bilmem birkaç hafta önce memleketime düğün için gitmiştim. Düğüne gitmeden önce İstanbul Kavacık'ta bulunan Özel Medistate Hastanesinden görüşmeye çağrıldım. 2-3 süren görüşmeden sonra işe kabul edildim. Memleketten geldikten sonra Hasta Danışmanı olarak bu işe başladım. Henüz bir ay olmadı bu hafta perşembe günü tam bir ay olacak.

I don't know if you remember, I went to my hometown a few weeks ago for a wedding. Before I went to the wedding, I was called to see at the Private Medistate Hospital in Kavacık, Istanbul. After 2-3 interviews, I was accepted to work. After coming from hometown, I started this business as a Patient Consultant. It's not been a month yet, and Thursday this week will be a full month.

Hastanedeki ilk günüm.

Size biraz Hasta Danışmanının ne iş yaptığından bahsedeyim. Hasta danışmanları doktorların bir nevi asistanları sayılır. Hastalar size gelir, randevusu olduğunu söyler, sizde o süreçten itibaren hastanın hastanedeki her türlü işlerinden sorumlu olursunuz. Ameliyat olacaksa eğer randevusunu ayarlarsınız. Kanları alınacaksa eğer laboratuvar ile görüşüp bilgi verirsiniz.Doktorunuz randevuları iptal ettiyse tek tek hastaları arayıp başka bir güne randevu verirsiniz. Sürekli olarak insanlarla iç içe olmanız gerekir ve güler yüzlü olmanız gerekir.Bunu yapmak benim için zor ama başarabileceğimden eminim.

Let me tell you a little bit about what the Patient Advisor does. Patient consultants are considered to be a kind of assistant of doctors. Patients come to you, tell you that they have an appointment, and you are responsible for all kinds of work of the patient in the hospital from that process. If he is going to have surgery, you arrange his appointment. If their blood is to be taken, you will contact the laboratory and give information. If your doctor has canceled appointments, you call individual patients and make an appointment for another day. You need to be constantly intertwined with people and you need to be friendly. It's hard for me to do it, but I'm confident I can.
